Match was the wrong word. I've got NGA on the brain.Who needs to match ?
Oh I know, not basing it on that, just grabbing players for the sake of it without being exactly real. Wouldn't exactly be leaving a rookie spot for Welsh either but...If we did this next week then we wouldn’t be able to draft cal ah chee
I've already passed for both Melbourne and Brisbane so no more picks for me.Bulldogs don't have anymore spots available. noobermensch it's up to you

Very easy one MATCHED - he is so underrated.
Back to you .
Ah yep gotcha. Totally fair thenOh I know, not basing it on that, just grabbing players for the sake of it without being exactly real. Wouldn't exactly be leaving a rookie spot for Welsh either but...
Was waiting to see if he was forgotten or not, great getPick 64 Hawthorn - Marcus Krasnadamskis (201cm ruck)
Few other players I don’t mind as late picks or rookies - Koby Evans, Noah Roberts-Thompson and a couple of the mature aged guys in Harry Scott and Tom Blamires.
But of what’s left, feels like Krasnadamskis might be the most likely to go bolt up early. So I’ll pick him with the view that everyone will marvel at my knowledge in the future.

In fitting style for this draft, Collingwood selects Koby Evans (Perth)Pie 4 Life to take us home
Injury free, he will be a star. Nice selection. WCE would be hoping he gets to rookie. The word is he wont.In fitting style for this draft, Collingwood selects Koby Evans (Perth)
But in all seriousness, was next on my list of 'could improve with the right development' and probably has a fair chunk of upside considering his injury issues. Bit of a dart board throw anyway.
Draft done!

Risky strategy. If I was West Coast I would be pretty keen on both Banfield and Evans. Not so sure about Williams and Walley and Ryder isn't on anyone's radar.Teams like Pies and Port with onky late picks will be looking at those Eagles nga's and Banfield.
They havent left open enough list spots to cover more than one bid.

I just don’t get this.Risky strategy. If I was West Coast I would be pretty keen on both Banfield and Evans. Not so sure about Williams and Walley and Ryder isn't on anyone's radar.
I think WCE want to have their cake and eat it - banking on the fact that the Vics aren't that keen on the WA boys after the championships.I just don’t get this.
If those kids aren’t rated as top 40 prospects, why should West Coast prioritise them over better kids?
I get they have come through the WC academy, but that shouldn’t make them must haves.
Draft better kids, and if those kids slip through the national draft, pick them up in the rookie draft, or re-list them as over age 19 year old academy kids, and retain drafting rights to them next year.
Can you expand please.I'll always remember the words of a couple of AFL scouts I spoke to here one day in the outer and they both said "The interstate recruiters just don't listen most of the time". "They're not interested"
Yep, a communication breakdown between those two scouts based in WA working for interstate based AFL clubs, particularly those recruiters in Vic. That's what they said. We can only speculate if they were "not listened too" or "not coming up with information the recruiters interstate liked".Can you expand please.
Here as in WA, and interstate as in Vic recruiters?
