Like Newbie Apprentice Member and stuff, does anyone know how many posts you need to get until you go up a ranking? Also what does the beast mean coz after a post the other day it said the beast under my name then when i posted again it dissapeared.

I think newbies need something like 20 posts to upgrade. It's designed to monitor troll accounts.

The Beast means you hit your 666th post.

I think its a combination of the two. It is in the case of Veteran status at least.

No im pretty sure i can remember seeing a list of everything and how many posts you need, i know newbies need 25 posts. but thats it.

I think they should maybe have 'junior member' or something like that at maybe 1500 or 2000 posts to keep the interest going

It's based on posts.

With new users, allowing them to post threads anywhere but having a moderator review them first might eliminate the need to lock new users out. I'm on another forum that uses this system and it works very well
