sammm as I was lucky enough to go to an event earlier in the year already, I am happy for you to take the ticket to the event.
As always it is just 1 ticket for you and 1 for kosifantutti
if either of you cannot make it I can sub in for sure.
Please let me know sammm and I will update our RSVP with the club as due to time constraints I just chucked myself and kosifantutti on the rsvp initially

Thanks sammm and understandable not wanting to share much, it was a rough night.

kosifantutti how'd you find it?
It's taken me this long to recover.

Bruce Eva was hosting and always does a good job. I came in when he was interviewing Tom Boyd and I don't know if he was the last one or the only one. There was no information from the club about when the formal proceedings would start of even if there were formal proceedings. I'm not sure I would have come any earlier if they had.

There was no problem getting a drink and you could get it in a plastic cup to go out and watch the game. (Just re reading this bit, the cup was to drink from, not to save a trip to the bathroom)
Lots of spring rolls, mini hamburgers, fish and chips etc. There was also a dumpling station but no labelling to say what they were. An issue for those with allergies or vegetarians.

Half time and they had scones and jam and cream, sausage rolls, party pies as well as tea and coffee. And the bar was open.

The seats aren't great. Level 2 right behind the goals which means you see one end of the ground really well and the other hardly at all. And I felt like the seats in front were really close compared to my normal level 2 seat. Also there were a lot of Essendon supporters and theatre goers there. I guess that's what to expect in a corporate type area. IMG_3875.JPG IMG_3876.JPG

Nothing to do with the function but the giant scoreboards are positioned so that the one with the best view is at the other end of the ground. But that is so far away that it looks like a tiny scoreboard. And even less to do with the function why do they not just show close ups of the action all the time. When the ball is at the other end of the ground and you look up to see what's happening and they are showing something that looks like it's filmed from someone with an iphone at the back of Level 3, what's the point?

Overall a good night but then again a s**t night.
