All you need to do is nominate at what time on the first day a channel 9 commentator (probably Tony) mentions a) the Sydney Harbour New Year's fireworks; b) how well the old stands complement the new at the SCG and c) what a marvellous atmosphere at the ground.

My nominations are:
a) 11:01
b) 11:02
c) 11:03

I reckon Bill will say (c) firstly "the whole crowd at the SCG is a buzz today, but it doesn't compare to the Melbourne crowd from the Boxing Day test"

Between lunch and tea on day one,Tony Grieg will say that the crowd at the S.C.G is better behaved than at the M.C.G.
He'll also say that Sydney people don't throw there rubbish on the ground so its blows across the field.

The easist prediction is that John 'Where's Wally' Howard will be spotted at the cricket more times than Spider Everitt has made court appearances.
Don't be suprised if WALLY tosses the coin.

Well, it didn't take too long. Bill's first atmos refernece came at 10:59, followed by another at 11:04, and another at 11:10 and then I stopped counting...

Tony had next crack in the commbox and at 11:34 made his mandatory "I love the way the old blends in with the new here" type comments (complete with a snipe at Melbourne).

Amazingly, Tony managed to restrain himself and waited until 11:51 before launching into his annual wank about the Sydney Harbour fireworks. When is he going to declare his position on the Sydney Tourism Board?

Hey GoEagles you killed me with that one, even in England we know that Bill Lawry isn't an Australian but that he's a professional Victorian I reckon that during the Sydney Olympics he said'it's a great Olympics but it's not a patch on the '56 Games in Melbourne'

I think even more common is Tony Greig,Bill Lawry or Richie predicting the outcome of LBW appeals before the umpire gives a decision, And there wrong 95% of the time. Like yesterday, McGrath's first ball to the new batsmen and hits him on the pads, appeal goes up. Tony: "Oh that's out by a mile! Oh he turned him down, maybe a little down legside perhaps".
