I know theres been a few suggestions about bigfooty tipping comps, but what happened last year was a group called bigfooty was set up as part of the official AFL site comp. Its easy, and you get to compete against each other, as well as against all the other tippers. This system also worked well in the fantasy footy.

What do you think?

Make that three.....just im a bit behind on thinking these things. We might even be able to enter more than 1 bigfooty team for the group tipping comp.

Due to the unsuitability of the 'official' tipping software authorised by the AFL, and the expense in bringing it up to scratch, AFLTips.com (who we ran the comp through last year) probably won't be running a comp this year.

The software used last year was excellent, but in true AFL management style the AFL has decided that there will be ONE piece of software that everyone except Eddie Macguire's TipStar will have to use.

It stinks to high heaven, but we don't have the money or the influence to do anything about it.

Seems only the boot-lickers get to have a say in the AFL.

DAMN, that sucks, but on the other hand, it doesn't surprise me too much
