Apparently a big Ryan fan. Good man. Staggered that I wasn’t in the pro-Masten group. HT would be ropable.

Still keeping my support for Shep even though Yeo will probably win again.

Sorry man, I took the honorable mantle for Masten's most votes.

Don't think I missed a game voting wise this year. Featured in a few of the fans tags.

I'm backing Shuey for the win.

Shep came into 2019 breathing fire after missing out on the 2018 Premiership. He was one of our most consistent performers and established himself as an elite backman of the competition with an All Australian squad nomination. Shep ranked 1st in the comp for Total Marks and averaged 19.3 disposals per game. He regularly got over 20 disposals including a 27 touch game against the Dockers in Round 4. Shep's only BF Best on Ground for the season came in Round 7 v Gold Coast (4.10) votes however he managed to poll in every game bar 2. Huge year from the sexy man.

Agent93 High five! We're the two coolest posters here.

I didn’t put it in the OP but after the count I’ll be posting individual votes for everyone who voted in every game and everyone who voted in every game but one.

Everyone else will have to either ask me here or PM me.
Think I voted in every regular season game, just not the 2 finals. I really wonder where my votes went..

Surprised Shep has finished third. Thought he'd take it out comfortably.

Shep polled in the most games out of everyone but only getting 1 BOG hurt his chances.

Curse of being a half back.

In all seriousness, his consistency, getting the job done most weeks is what makes him good so the votes are fairly reflected. I'll settle for third for Shep in this highly regarded count.

2nd - Elliot Yeo

Didn't quite back up his back2back effort from the past two years but still an outstanding season for Elliot. Yeo had the most Best on Ground performances for us out of everyone this year with 5(!) in Round 9 v Melbourne, Round 10 v Adelaide, Round 17 v Collingwood, Round 20 v Carlton and Round 22 v Richmond and was our highest poller in the Brownlow. Yeo had some fantastic beast mode games this season where he willed us over the line and there are too many to list but they include Round 17 v the Pies where he 26'd and 2'd, Round 4 v the Dockers with 30 touches, and Round 9 v Melbourne where he tallied 16 tackles. Yeo finished the year as number 1 in the comp for Total Tackles, 4th for Total Inside 50s and 7th for Centre Clearances per Game.

And that leaves us with 1.

Luke Shuey your BigFooty West Coast Eagles Player of the Year 2019.

Write up to come in a few minutes.

Yeo almost pinched the win at the death this year with Shuey miles in front for most of the last third of the year. Yeo came home so so strong and actually got in front at the end of the Home and Away season, but Shuey claimed the mantle back in the Elimination Final before an inconsequential Semi Final for them both.

Well done Luke!

My predictions;

- Gov misses the top 10
- Jetta received most votes from myself
- Shuey wins, Yeo second, Shep third (Tight I reckon I gave Yeo less votes than most)

Congrats to OMGFridge for not only being the only poster to predict a Shuey win, but also get the 1/2/3 correct AND both of his other predictions correct!
