Oh i love me some Oscar Allen. He will beat JKs goal total at the end of his career.

So so good for a young KPF.

This is a huge call!

Considering the way footy's going there'll probably be 16 goals scored total in the 2030 season, so it would be an impressive effort.

10th place - #13 Luke Shuey

Total votes - 11.08

Ranking - 10th

Games played - 13

A bit of a drop from our skipper who finished 1st in last years count although his form was largely good, he missed a significant period due to injury. Hurt both hamstrings in Round 15 so he missed the last 3 rounds of the season before returning for the Elimination Final. Shuey was ranked 11th in the competition for Centre Clearances per Game and capitalised on our centre bounce dominance with NN and at times showed good chemistry with TK. Shuey had some outstanding games this year including 27 disposals and 6 tackles in Round 14 vs Richmond, 25 disposals, 3 marks and a goal vs Gold Coast in Round 2 (he was BOG for this game with 4.17 votes) and 27 disposals, 8 marks and 5 tackles vs Melbourne in Round 1.

12th place - #6 Elliot Yeo

View attachment 997036

Total votes - 9.30

Ranking - 12th

Games played - 10

A pretty monumental effort from Yeo to finish just outside the top 10 despite only playing 10 games and missing the entire last half of the season due to a groin injury. Probably our most important midfielder these days, certainly our most powerful, we looked static without Yeo and missed his influence on the contest. Yeo was 2nd in the competition for Clearances per Game and 5th for Tackles per Game which shows how we probably weren't really much of a chance once he went down. Was BOG in Round 5 v the Swans with 4.18 votes where he had 21 disposals, 6 clearances and 5 tackles. Another season highlight was vs Gold Coast in Round 2 where he had 13 tackles and 10 clearances to go with his 21 disposals. Finished 2nd last year in our count and was well on his way to a similar finish before injury.

Bit suprised I voted for Yeo the most as I was pretty critical of him earlier this year.
Will put in one final prediction. Like last year I expect to have the biggest crush on Naitanui (and it likely won't even be close).
Guess we'll find out in nine days.

9th place - #27 Jack Darling

Total votes - 12.22

Ranking - 9th

Games played - 18

Our first player to play every game in 2020, it was a season of two halves for Darling. A woeful first hub and only 0.13 votes to his name before the bye, Darling stormed home with votes in every single game post-bye to storm into the top 10. Darling finished 8th in the Coleman Medal with 30 goals to his game and ranked 4th in the competition for Total Contested Marks. He kicked 3 goals on 3 occasions in the Elimination Final vs Collingwood, Round 14 vs Richmond and Round 13 vs GWS so with JK finishing up soon we can only hope he is ready to take up the mantle and lead our forward line in the years to come.

Another to play every game in 2020, Barrass was more of a quiet achiever this year as he probably didn't receive as much praise as he should have. Ranked 2nd in the competition for Total One Percenters, 14th for Total Marks and 4th for Effective Disposals % per Game, Barrass was reliable, albeit with some more brain farts. Our first player to have 2 BOG games (Round 1 vs Melbourne with 3.94 votes and Round 12 vs Hawthorn with 3.94 votes), Barrass probably had one of his best years at the football club.

Games played - 17

Senior citizen Kennedy put together a strong season in 2020 where he came second in the Coleman despite half this board retiring him in earlier in the year. JK only missed one game (Round 15) in a year where he ranked 2nd for Goals per Game and 3rd for Marks Inside 50 along with his 34 majors. Led the forward line again and showed he is still one of the premier power forwards in the competition with games like Round 8 v Collingwood where he had 16 disposals, 5 marks and 7 goals and his back to back BOG performances in Round 7 (4.55) and 8 (4.67). JK signed a one year contract extension for 2021 in what may be the final season for our all time leading goalkicker.

A career best year for the Dug saw him catapult himself from 20th place in 2019 to 6th place in 2020. Duggan showed promise in the midfield as he took more responsibility when we were hit by injuries so hopefully we see him transition into a good mid in 2021. Strong games such as 19 disposals and 8 marks vs Fremantle in Round 7 and 23 disposals, 5 marks and 4 tackles in a BOG performance (4.69 votes) vs Richmond in Round 14 demonstrated that our future leader might finally be ready to take the next step. Duggan ranked 11th in the competition for Total Marks in 2020.

Only 1 premiership between our top 5 which I suspect is not a coincidence.
