After counting the votes, I was pretty surprised to see Lycett in the Top 5 after 10 rounds. I knew he was having a great season, but Top 5 is a surprise.

Round 11
We played a good team in the Bulldogs, so as expected we got beaten. Despite the final score, we didn't play that well.

Matt Priddis takes home his first BOG for the season.

Notes:
1) Total of 36 voters. Hill was voted for the most, but seemed to be popular for the minor votes finishing 3rd in total votes.
2) Priddis votes of 3.53 is the lowest of any BOG this season. Unfortunately this is not because of an even contribution across the team, more the difficultly of giving votes to deserving players.
3) Welcome to the votes Tom Cole!
4) Most votes in a game for Shannon Hurn since he became captain at the start of last year
5) Most votes in a game for Josh Hill since I started counting the votes (start of last year)
6) Most votes for Matt Priddis since round 7 last year.

Round 12
After looking like a good football team for the best part of 3 quarters we completely s**t the bed in the last quarter and a bit against the Crows. They absolutely dominated us and put a big dent in any Top 4 hopes we may have had.

Josh Hill takes home his first Best on Ground for the year.

Notes:
1) Counting votes didn't take long. Only 28 voters turned up. Easily our lowest for the year.
2) Hill was picked by everyone except xown
3) HoneyBadger35 must be a big Hutching fan giving him BOG honors while no one else gave him more than 2 votes.

Notes:
1) Top 3 stay the same (though it got closer - they are now all within 0.8 votes). Nic Nat won't get too many votes for a while though, so effectively is a Top 2
2) After a couple of good weeks Priddis moves into 4th
3) Also after two good weeks Hill cracks the Top 10 at the expense of Mark LeCras who hasn't polled a vote in 4 rounds
4) Speaking of polling poorly Gaff hasn't had a decent voting round since Round 4

Round 13
We never really got out of second gear to beat a putrid Brisbane. Did enough to win, but was not impressive. Break came at a good time.

Yeo takes home his first BOG for the year.

Notes:
1) Another poor turnout with just 34 voters. Only RookiePick thought Yeo wasn't worth a spot in the votes.
2) Yeo picked up 23 of the 34 BOGs. Next best was Shuey with 4.

And that's the end of the progressive count. At the end of the year we'll do the countdown as always. Full Leader Board as of the bye...

Notes:
1) No changes in any position in the Top 7.
2) Top 2 now well clear of any chasers (Priddis is over 9 votes back)
3) Yeo jumps into the Top 10 at the expense of Gaff, who falls all the way to 12th.

Looking at the votes to date they seem about right for what my gut would have said. I thought the Top 3 was pretty clear and seeing Nic Nat, Kennedy & Shuey miles out in front isn't a surprise.

I would probably have thought McGovern and Sheppard would have been in front of Priddis and Darling. Darling benefits from either being really good or poor which helps in a 5 vote system. He's had 2 BOGs which boosts his vote tally. They were also way back in Round 2 and 3, so I may have forgotten them.

Kennedy would have to be our B&F this year so far, you'd think.
