I still want to see VDV play alone upfront.

-----------------Gomes----------------
--Corluka --- Gallas -- Dawson --BAE----
----------------------------------------
---------------- Sandro ----------------
---------Huddlestone - Modric ----------
----------------------------------------
--Lennon -------------------------Bale--
------------- Van der Vaart -------------

Also wouldn't mind seeing Bale play at left-back more often. His inability to rely on his right foot can make him easy to defend against and teams are starting to close him down a bit too easily. He'd get a lot more space at LB and I wouldn't be surprised if that benefits him in the long term (he'll still need to learn how to defend though).

Also want to see Lennon playing on the left more. Reminds me of Arjen Robben with his quickness and dribbling ability. Looks far more dangerous cutting inside as opposed to looking for a cross.

The most intresting thing about it all is that they are going to show the film before the chelsea- Tottenham game.

I dont think it will get the best reception they would be hoping for tbh.

Well done Gareth Bale.

Utterly undeserving of the award but he's a ****ing joy to watch. Most exciting player in the league by a mile. He owes Spurs and Harry a lot so he better stay a few more seasons.

IMO, Modric should win our player of the season.

Think he was deserving - if you take his 2010 performances as a whole that is - which I suspect those voting have done.

Would like to see Luka get our player of the season award.

Entertaining match although our top 4 hopes are just about gone. This was supposed to be one of our winnable games but we've failed to capitalize and we still need to beat City, Chelsea and Liverpool all away from home.

Bale still disappointing. Too easy to defend against when you pose no threat with your non-preferred foot.

Not sure how we're gonna keep Luka here next season. World class player and he'll probably be hungry for more CL football.

Looking very unlikely now. Probably relying on City imploding whch is unlikely. If not, I'd say winning 5 of our last 6 (with one being at Eastlands) could do it - but that is a massive ask.

As long as our players stay loyal, then missing out wont the end of the world. We can then really gear up for a proper tilt at the league as well - as long as we can bring in a much needed quality stiker (oh and maybe a keeper as well).

Chin up though lads, today showed us why we support Spurs. You rarely get games like that anywhere else.

This is going to end up like your comments on Sandro. You are so quick to change your judgements and don't allow for common sense all too often.

It took Lennon close to 9 months after his injury this season to get back to his form. Bale missed ~ 3 months in the middle of the season. He is still showing patches but he won't be back to his best for a while.

Even Luka came back and looked awful after 2 weeks out.

I only ever said Sandro didn't look ready, which he didn't based on the early Bolton game.

Sure, injuries can have their impact but by now, you'd think he's had enough time to recover and yet, he's only looked dangerous at best.

Adding to that, even prior to his injuries, he only ever uses his left foot. I kind of like that Di Maria at Real Madrid, at least he poses a threat on both feet as opposed to Bale, who almost always tries to go down the touchline to try and get a cross in.

It just seems he's becoming easy to defend against. Just clog the space he likes to run into and force him to cut inside on his right.

Personally, I'd rather see him at left-back, with someone like Lennon on the left creating space for him to run into.

9 points from West Brom, Blackpool, Brum (at home).

6 points from City, Chelsea, Liverpool (away).

Anything less and we won't get fourth.
One of your wins would have to be against us.

We'd then need 4 wins and a draw from Blackburn (a),West Ham (h), Everton (a), Stoke (h), Bolton (a).

Would be tough

Redknapp out.

We are the Port Adelaide of English football. Absolute ****ing waste of a football club. So ****ing pissweak. Everyone except Dawson can **** off.

Apart from Dawson, only two players give a shit about the club. One is always injured and the other is on loan at Wolves.

Well this is just ****ing great. We would have won barring any referee ****ups. Completely ruined out season.

Of course, it will give Harry an excuse for not winning even though he was at fault as well. Playing Defoe alone upfront again? ****ing ****.

Unfortunately after Mac City defeating West Ham it looks like it is impossible to reach the top 4. However I don't understand why everyone is so dissapointed with "just" making the Europa League. It is still one of the premier tournaments in the world and having another run in the comp like we did in the champs league would be fantastic.

Will we have a serious crack at the comp though? Or will we focus on making the top 4 more?

Got to make it first. Lose to Liverpool in a few weeks and I think you'll struggle.

I'd be happy if Spurs made the europa league, sure its not as glamorous as the CL but its still a trophy we should try to obtain.
Disappointed with the Chelski result, Gomes has let us down time and time again. Its time Harry looks into getting a better keeper and also get rid of Kranjcar as he is being a whiny sook which isn't good for team morale.
Hopefully we should get over the top of Blackpool next game.

Go Spurs!!
