I was just about to post about this guy.

If we don't get him, I will be disgusted. We're affiliated with Internacional and he's exactly what we need, a young long term option who can score goals and hold the ball up.

Sign me up. If Liverpool bought Carroll for 35m, we should get this guy for 17-20m. 22 goals in 24 appearances in the Brazil league is good enough.

Friedel is an improvement on what you had, but I thought during last year his performances weren't as good as they have been in the past. Age catching up on him maybe, he's always been one of the best keepers in the league.

As a backup/coach he would be a great signing, although I do believe he will come into the club as a number 1 keeper.

Please, gtfo out of this thread moomba.

It's bad enough most Spurs fans here think Gomes is shit, don't need to hear it from some shit-talking City supporter who thinks Gareth Barry is a good player.

Even if Gomes does leave (he will now), I would have preferred Cudicini to get the #1. He's been solid for us when he's played and he's younger than Friedel.

Oh if only Gomes didn't have those stupid yips! Fine shot stopper :(. If we didn't have Carlo I'd be all for Friedel, he is an old vet and good to have around. But you don't need 2 aging keepers on the books...

So will he be #1?

Spurs line up sensational move for Drogba
Who knows if it's BS or not, but I'd take Drogba in a heart beat. No idea how he would fit into our wage structure though.
If it means we won't get Damiao, then no thanks.

Drogba would be good, but he won't hang around for 10 years. We should test Internacional's resolve with Damiao first IMO.

Really though, we won't get Drogba. Just no way I can see it happening.

The Parker one is a bit old. Hopefully the Manure or Arsenal buy him like they should.

Why do we allow Harry to be in charge of most of our transfers anyway? If this continues, expect Wes Brown, Phil Neville and David Beckham to be here shortly. Harry loves that 'valuable experience' they offer.

Just watched the highlights of Brazil v Scotland and Damaio looked threatening from dead balls all day. Few seared past the post but didn't score.

Looks like Harry is desperate to sign Parker now. Would be a stupid buy considering our midfield depth at the moment. Adding to that, he's getting old now.

As if that isn't bad enough, we're rumored to be interested in Joe Cole now... just sickening.

This is our punishment for giving Harry in the transfer market.

I'm getting very confident we will sign Leandro. I'm certain it is a Levy signing and Harry doesn't know about it :)

But yes I also expect Cole and Parker which is just ****ing ludicrous.

You can also expect Wes Brown, David Beckham, Phil Neville, Gennaro Gattuso, Mark van Bommel and Matthew Upson, as they give us that vital experience we've been lacking :thumbsu:

It's depressing to have this clown in charge when Ancelotti is available.

If we offload palacios, jenas and those type Parker would be a good squad/depth player. Don't forget we have a lot of European games coming up.

Thoughts on Park Chu-Young?

With Monaco relegated, he's likely to move on and we're apparently one of the favourites to sign him. With 11 goals in 33 starts in Ligue 1, you'd think we can do better, but he'd definitely be an upgrade on what we've got.

Adding to that, there are the marketing benefits that come with it.

We apparently had a £10m bid for Moussa Dembele rejected...

Surely this is bullshit? We couldn't be stupid enough to pay that much for him.
