Yeah gotta say, Johnsons actually been a little bit creative. I'd take a default poach goal right about now though.
Tels out of sync with the team so isn't getting to the right spots and Son hasn't been doing it all season, been on the backfoot everytime.

Pretty low quality from both teams really. Can't say AZ deserve to be in front, just we don't either.

Kinda why I said Tel would be the most pointless loan since Spurs loaned Gedson Fernandes. Kids used to coming on 3 nil up in a dominant team. Comes in to our dross football. Hard on the young fella

Can see he has the attributes. Hopefully we both prove enough to him to make it permanent

That's ridiculously harsh and wrong. Tels actually been ok at holding it up, he's just not in sync with when to make the runs. Probably had a better half than Son tbh.

He's also 19 and not match fit yet. Maybe hold off on the doom and gloom

Again not a criticism of him as a player. Just the expectations set by fans and the club by making a loan signing that he'll actually make an impact and be more than just a warm body. I'm sure come 2030 he'll be an amazing player. But expecting a kid with hardly any career starts to come from Bayern to Spurs in Feb and impact in 4 months was crazy thinking.

It would be like us sending Moore or Bergvall to Hull at the end of January and carrying them to a promotion play off

He was never meant to be a saviour though, Richarlison was fit when he signed. If Tel was able to come off the bench and acclimatize who knows how he'd look or where he'd even be playing. Right now he's been thrust into the ST role of a team with half the squad returning to match fitness. He'll be better in a month from now.

Agree to disagree on 2 fronts here

1. Believing that he'll be any good this season

2. Believing that Richarlison is ever really fit ;)

How can you categorically say he's not gonna be any good, the bemoan not playing Scarlett even tho Tels a 5x better talent?

He won't be for us this season.

He's come from Bayern and training and playing with the likes of Kane and Musiala. To coming in and playing with Sarr and Johnson.

Tbh since they both came in this January Scarletts had a bigger impact in the PL lol

I hate football sometimes I really do.
Liverpool were dog shit against PSG, Alison has a game for the ages and they get lucky not having konate sent off and it's a great European away performance

Tottenham play dog shit, give away a nothing own goal and it's a horror performance lol.

We deserve it don't get me wrong but man it's fine margins that differ narratives
