Sounds like Florentina are going with a loan - to - buy for Manor Solomon as we recall him from Villareal

Recalling Jamie Donley (Stoke) and Damola Ayayi (Doncaster) with Jamie looking for more minutes and Damola looking for a bigger club. Jamie had a great loan spell at Stoke last season, did he not?

With our 'outs' now looking like;

Brennan Johnson, Manor Solomon

'Ins'

-

Who would you even like us to bring in?
Wharton. Wharton. Wharton

And yeah Donley not getting mins after a good loan. Stoke doing well but are stocked in his 9/10 spot. Would like him to go abroad tbh

watched a video about him, more likely in the summer, not really now. right?

what is it about Wharton anyways? English, pressing yet attacking and progressive midfielder?

Think there was a stat saying he made ad many forward progressive passes against use than any of our CMs have made all season. That!

what a snooze fest we have become.. I know we have injuries to alot of our best players, especially in the attacking third but the style of play just isn't Spurs. Its a relegation team scrapping for any point they can get
The only time we can string 5 passes together is when we pass it along the back with one of Bentancur or Paulinha dropping back as well

I can see why we sold Johnson as we never get the ball forward enough for him to be at the back post

He claimed he had no options at 10 other than Gray. Even though he's played Kudus and Odobert there. If he wasn't such a drab manager he'd have gone with

Bentancur - Gray
Kudus - Odobert - Tel
Richarlison

Or even full meat and boiled potatoes 442 with Bentancur and Gray with Kudus LW, Porro RW, with Spence and Davies as old school nothing full backs, would be much easier on the eye on what we tried today

Tottenham really does some magical things to people, players and managers. Kudus is a shadow of himself from those first few games with us.

Johnson is an elite right wing poacher in Angeball setup. Couldn't be a worse fit for what Frank is trying here.

I just don't understand this guy. What he is doing with us isn't what he did at Brentford. There's nobody looking one bit like they're playing the lethal counter attack roles that Mbuemo and Toney played

Same here

Lets not forget Kane struggled at champ loans but got his chance and took it
this is the thing that annoys me, we barely give our kids a go. When they do, they do well (Europa league night last year versus Elford perfect example).

Donley would be one disappointing loss, think he could serve a purpose. Dont understand why we bought Takai if the idea was to on-sell so quickly.

Takai is just a loan isn't it?

Heats gotta be on Lange surely

This is as big a sliding doors window as the one we didnt sign anyone..

(July 2024)
Joe Rodon - £10m (Leeds) -£1m
Tanguy N'Dombele - Free (Nice) -£55m
Japhet Tangana - Free (Milwall) academy
Troy Parrott - £6.7m (AZ Alkmar) academy
Ryan Sessegnon - Free (Fulham) -£25m
(August 2024)
Emerson Royal - £15m (Milan) -£15m
Oliver Skipp - £20m (Leicester) academy
Gio Le Celso - £35m (Real Betis) -£31m

net loss of over £120m

Lol Celso cost 35m btw

Not to mention either side of it you've lost Son, Dier for practically nothing aswell.
The squad management has been amateur at best. The Replacements have been poor aswell. Johnson was never a CL level striker, Udogies poor, Dragusin not in the slightest but suited to Angeball. 100m on kids in Odobert, Gray and Bergvall then replaced with a manager who wants Gorexta and Paulhinha instead 😂. It's an absolute mess

Lange is making Hitchen look like a guru

Truly believe that role is more important than the manager

Bizarre. Does show spurs must be buying a winger in January then.
If they want him to succeed should be trying to loan him inside England not to Turkey

I am all for the buying into the wondkid market, we need a manager who is going to actually buy in and develop said kids.

Serious question, how do the likes of City, Liverpool keep the homegrown numbers in check? im not across all of the status' of said clubs players but curious to know. One or two are probably stars which helps. Feels like we always struggle in this regard)
They run relatively small squads and have good academy kids. You don't need to register homegrown if you only have 20 first team players.

Liverpool use Jones, ngumoah ( I know that's wrong) and Bradley with Gomez as well.

City have O'Reilly, Lewis and Foden. It makes a huge difference
