Got out of jail. Just please don’t play Sissoko anymore you complete imbecile. It’s like he doesn’t want to win a trophy
That 3rd GK not being English not looking so bad now...
Add Llorente to the pointless list and we are wasting 3 spots in our squad.

1. One of Vorm/Gazzaniga needs to be a HG player. All the top 6 have 1 HG keeper to allow them to have extra outfield non-HG. Because we have one of these 2 we had to go all in for a sub-standard and overpriced player like Grealish over proper top-6 CM talents

2. Sissoko. Enough said

3. Llorente. What is the point of having him if he can't start over a non-striker in Lucas in the least important cup? What is the point of him if he can't score a header and/or stay onside?

Good win but shame to see Aurier go off injured. Was very good again and we will massively miss him against Barca. Imagine Trippier or KWP coming up against them lol

Oh boy get to disagree with you on two platforms at once. What a time to be alive.

Told you we wouldn’t be as weak as predicted. Still only just scraped through.
Watford made 10 changes and we made 6. What an indictment on the squad if they lost that. Only 2 players I thought should have started who didn't in Foyth and KWP (Llorente and GKN just because I think they shouldn't steal a wage)

What a fall from grace for Ben Davies. He looks awful this season? Or was he just outperforming last season? I never really rated him that highly or felt comfortable about him being a 1st choice player

We were trying to get Grealish on the cheap that’s the only reason we were in for him.

Disagree with you on Trippier, he’s capable enough just not at his best at the moment but he’ll come good. He was England’s best performer at the World Cup. Barcelona lost today, so there’s still hope for us!

We were putting in bids of 25-30m for a Championship player because of the quota issues. We could have easily broaden our search if we didn't have 3 GKs taking up spots and found a CM in that price range.

Trippier was very good at set pieces for England but pretty untroubled defensively. He has been okay for us so far this season don't get me wrong he hasn't been poor. But Aurier against Inter and before going off here was a real shining light

City - youth #3
United - signed Lee Grant
Chelsea - signed Richard Wright
Arsenal - youth #3
Liverpool - youth #3

They all get 15 outfield non-HG spots in their squad. We have 14 and end up having GKN & Foyth not able to be registered + we aren't able to sign another non-HG player without dropping another squad member.

Why go in with 14 players when you could easily go in with 15 with proper squad management decisions?

3 GKs taking up spots is pointless which has been proven by all clubs who've been successful. Having Vorm & Gazzaniga rules us out from strengthening areas we needed to address

Vorm may have been a great backup GK and not caused any trouble but if the club had any faith in Gazzaniga after seeing him in training for 12 months they shouldn't have kept him on as anything other than a GK coach.

You realise they could just get around it by naming Whiteman the 3rd GK for Europe...
the kerfuffle over a GK and the laughable suggestions it cost us a boss CM is truly amusing
But money matters more than anything with Levy. Why have 3 GKs on senior wages when 1 of them isn't registered for our 2nd major competition? Whiteman should have been 3rd GK and Vorm's wages moved off the wage bill and a CM brought in on what he is on

Nope. That’s revisionist again.
Gazzaniga has 1 game for the club up to this season and Vorm has been a solid servant.

To suggest after the fact he should have moved on is spurious at best
Gazzaniga had senior appearances in the EPL and La Liga when we signed him. Either don't sign him and go all in on Vorm who is on the decline, or sign him to be our #2 GK. Pointless having both
