Fyfe will still be playing in 5 years time...

Fyfe will most likely be playing in 5 years time, unless his leg gives him too much grief, but will it be for Freo?

Right now it's Pav, Fyfe then daylight for Freo. Probably in the future too unless Fyfe can help deliver a flag or win another Brownlow or two.

I'd have Sheedy as the biggest name at Essendon.
Daniher, Fletcher, Watson, Hird, Coleman and Reynolds names are all huge as well but Sheedy was such a public and visible figure for such a long and successful period of time.
You cant name your medal after him though, cos ours is.
Kevin Sheedy is a Richmond player first you s**t campaigners

Can’t believe it actually took like 3-4 posts before someone got it right.

Arguably the greatest player to ever put on a B&W jumper, one of only 9 Brownlow medalists, club record x7 time All Australian and record x6 club B&F winner. Without even thinking about it, he actually deserves it.

hmmm not sure about PFD over Ablett.... only because GAJ has been here already, won a Brownlow and 2 flags and is the SOG... and PFD only has the Chas to match him .... so far...

Go Catters

I would say that Ablett is a fading champion (who's lost a lot of respect among neutrals in recent times) while Dangerfield is in his absolute prime. Plus Dangerfield is in the media every five minutes which is pretty much the main criterion for being a big name.

Why did I put the very faded champion Luke Hodge as the biggest name at Brisbane though? Unfortunately for Brissy, Hodge walks in as the biggest name because he has achieved so much and the Lions have been adrift, so even the prime Lions can't match his profile.

My opinions as to who is a bigger name are entirely subjective though.
