If we are talking about when it actually happened, Judd I think shades the rest.

The guy toured 4 clubs, was massively speculation of where he would end up and a complex trade to top it off.

He was also club captain at a club that dominated the headlines in 2007 for all the wrong reasons.

Ablett was a long time coming and a 'worst kept secret' type scenario, much like Dangerfield ending up at the Cats.

The fact that Franklin ended up at the Swans was massive but more so because of how much the Swans had hoodwinked the league, as opposed to Buddy himself leaving Hawthorn, which had also been forecast for some time.

Big names Pfft.
Biggest signing - maybe a Cats vs Swans GF with Buddy and Danger dominating to decide it, although Buddy's old team won 2 flags compared to Sydney's 0

Ablett is the biggest name but GC have done SFA, same with Judd at Carlton. I rate Ablett and Judd as the 2 better players but neither could get their sides close to a flag.
