It's no different to any other strike to the head which happens to impact an ear.

Or do you think Joel went for the thunderclap deliberately? All these assumptions people (and the tribunal) are making, it's quite hysterical.

If you're finding the rest of the football world hysterical chances are you're just not getting it.

That had to be a skit. That was much too funny to have been real.

What happened exactly?

I find BB's role on the footy show a little too glaringly 'manufactured'? for want of a better word. He's pretending to be a pannellist yet we all know he's there to try and provide lulz, which he does very badly.

When did Bill go from being a man's man, to be a big fat sook.

Selwood was lucky to get only 4 weeks.

Pull your head in and Suck it up princess!!!!!

Easily the dumbest football media personality. . . the only guy who could possibly challenge him in this department would be Schwarz.

Actually you're full of shit, doesn't take much force at all. A moderate slap with a cupped hand can perforate an ear drum easily, try it on yourself. All about ear being forced into the ear canal.

Keep your opinions to yourself if you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm aware of that genius, but if you're imbecilic enough to believe that in that split second, Joel Selwood thought to cup his hand, and lightly tap Brent Guerra on the ear, and Guerra decided he would act, fall down, stay down, and miss a week of football to keep the act up, then you should have your account deleted from BigFooty because you shouldn't be posting.

Or breeding.

Exactly. Weeks missed by the victim while they recover from the injuries sustained as a result of the cowardly, unexpected attack should be now added on.

Punish it harshly? Let's think back a little bit, Buddy in a phone video pulling his pants and using language a nun wouldn't use?
That went un punished!

Something a nun wouldn't say, what like "go to hell" or something.

We're talking about on field, behind the ball incident and you bring up nuns and video pant pulling.

Let me guess, catholic all boys school, a nun caught you playing with yourself. You were punished and you still self flagellate when you think impure thoughts to this day.

Am I right?

Yes, thanks for backing my point it was no different than any other hit to the head which happens to impact an ear. Result = perforated ear drum.

So it needs to be punished to discourage anyone hitting players off the ball in the head, or pushing players, or fending players or whatever he and you and Billy said he did or didn't do.

Maybe we've been lucky to not get a similar injury before but we can stop it happening again. Month holiday all round and it should stop.

You are making assumptions too, like Joel was telling the truth.

Billy's mistake was assuming that everyone is as stupid as he is.

Sick and tired of this bloke. Sooks every week on either footy show or sunday footy show about geelong. He is the true definition of someone who should not be commentating or summarising a game that geelong plays in. He is boring, biased and full of shit. And having dealt with him some years back an arrogant tool of a bloke as well. He may come across as a larrikin nice fella but truly is an arrogant pig.[/quote]

I wonder what sort of a bloke you are for you to get that impression from him? He's actually not much different from what you see on tv. He's good fun.

At least Selwood took action and didn't huff and puff and mouth off from the bench and then squib it when he got back on the ground before walking off crying.

Where did I say any of this? Just because you ****ed up and got caught out doesn't mean you have to throw a tantrum.

I don't really mind Billy, but that was ****ing embarrassing, and the cats supporters who are going along with are making fools of themselves.

So we've established it takes fairly minimal contact to perforate an eardrum, why does Selwood get 4 weeks when Thomas gets 2 for a strike to the head, caught on camera?

At least Bill had more dignity than bring Daisy into his sookfest.

Suck it in and move on, bitch.

It was pathetic he is terrible when it comes to Geelong

I remember last year when the votes would happen for the Sunday footy show and he would be like ohh what about Ablett or if a player got votes that was close to Ablett you would hear ohh didnt think he was that good just embarrassing to watch since 2007

Show me roof..

No roof, just something I heard which would explain the ruptured ear drum. You can't rupture someone's ear drum with any trauma less than a severe blow to the head, so a cracked eye socket would be consistent with the finding of the medical report.

Are you talking about Bruns. :thumbsu:

Are you even old enough to remember the Bruns incident? Was a bit hard to huff and puff and mouth off with a smashed jaw but probably endured the pain so he could have a chuckle as Matthews was being charged by the police.

I was talking about the Hawks v Bombers when someone dished a bit back to Hawthorn and they turned up their toes and went down without a whimper. You remember the one surely, no finals for Hawks that year.

Again. lol.
