They're neither. Taylor is gender Non-Binary. As is Asia Kate Dillon in real life that plays them.

If you agree with it or not Taylor has stated their pronouns on meeting as to avoid confusion. To introduce a character like this is a brave move by the writers and one that I welcome. The role was played to perfection. Especially loved the "you're offering me cookies, you got nothing" bit.

Brilliant character though and loved the way they took over in the finale. The approval from Dollar Bill at the end was a nice touch even given that he had offered himself and was passed over.

I gotta also add that the whole sequence about firing somebody was great character development and very enjoyable.

I find both wives annoying. Maybe Wendy a bit less annoying. But Axe's wife tilts me, don't think the actress who plays her is much chop.

Yeah an unfortunate thing to be playing down from 3 absolutely brilliant performers. I myself am a big fan of Wendy, best performances when she is having her little chats with the employees at Axe. It was all a bit weird with Lara the director obviously trying to get react shots from her without saying a word and a lot of the time instead of me feeling what she was feeling I was more left thinking wtf she looks a bit confused and then just moving on.

The one thing I wonder about is if Chuck had planned it to have Wendy be there as Axe was arrested. Really seems like he already knew Boyd would be warning him which would get him on the run. "Not his wife, mine"

Now onto the trial of Bobby Axelrod and the campaign for Chuck to become Governor.

Very few drama shows have captivated me over the last 10 years or so but this has. The writing is just so fresh and the acting cast is just so deep. It's almost a shame that guys like Wags don't get much air time because the story is so deep and complex.

Yeah, Malin Akerman is an awful actress. The inevitable split between her and Axe is going to be tough to watch next season. I can't work out if her character is deliberately written so poorly so that viewers are more invested in Axe and Wendy's relationship or whether the writers just dropped the ball with this one.

Finally caught up on season 2. Boy oh boy have we got a great show here!

I thought Taylor's addition brought another dimension to the show. Great performance that added colour to a show already beaming with colours across the spectrum.

I agree on the sentiments re Bobby's wife. I can barely stand her.

Finally caught up with the final few episodes. Built to a great crescendo and despite Chuck's seeming unwinnable victory in the second last episode, the reality of the consequences hitting him like a ton of bricks in the finale was quite brutal.

My only criticism of the show is just how unlikable so many of the characters are. I find myself cheering for Axe, but on so many levels he is a complete prick.

Wow.

Finally finished season 2. Bobby, Chuck and Taylor take a bow. Last two episodes just smashed it out of the park. The chuck reveal montage and the final scenes in the last ep with the Homecoming song, just superb.

Agreed on Lara Axelrod, not the best character, but I get the feeling they want Wendy and Axe to become more intimate. I like Wendy when she's in Axe's world, but not so much when she's in Chuck's world (I'm assuming this is by design aswell). Really like her therapy sessions side of the show. Liked the cowboy therapist that Wags brought in, quite hilarious.

Wags and Bryan (the sidekicks to Axe/Chuck) both had a great season fleshing out their characters. Also loved Axe's lawyer, he had some great scenes throughout the season especially with Bryan (Chuck's Assistant DA) trying to convince him to come over to Axe's side. Chuck's old man plays the 'smug wanna be puppet master role' very well. Enjoyed watching as his smile left his face.

Could go on for ever talking about how good everyone is in this show. but predictions for season 3....
- Wendy's trading on Ice Juice will become a big deal as she will get caught up in it all. Chuck will have to decide.
- Think Axe and Lara will be off and on again throughout the season but Wendy will be the final reason it stays off permanently.
- Ira will attempt to commit suicide showing the destructive path that lays in the wake of Chuck's pursuit.
- Oliver Dake will be back and a big issue for Chuck.
- The Don King Assistant DA will be against Chuck in someway.
- Chef Ryan will be caught getting a bj again.
- Axe will have a permanent smile on his face when he finds out about Chuck's fetishes.

Nothing to bold.

Can't wait for Season 3, definitely one of my favourite shows.

Brilliant season 2, really looking forward to season 3 already

The me thing I didn’t like was how quickly Axe’s wife turned on him, from just one tiny lie seems to be really overblowned.

I’m thinking the fact that Wendy made a profit from that short trade will come back and haunt her fat **** rodent of a husband.

I can understand that makes you uneasy, but I think that is a testament to the shows production team. During season 2 I think I had the same moment you did - where I was trying to work out why I was cheering for Axe when he is nothing short of a rich mega absolute flog, but then I thought that Chuck is just as bad, playing the role of the public defender, but as we found out late in the season, super rich himself and incredibly hell bent on vengeance.

Dake let me down - I was sure he was going to sort everything out. Will have to wait now for season 3 and see how it plays out

I feel like that sort of shit needs some explaining not just "magic of tv we wanted a new set". I'm sure I can do a quick google and see what excuse the show runners give but just wanted to fire that out.

I can't remember, but didn't their last office get completely destroyed and the only assets frozen were his personal ones, not the business itself?

Yeah, only his personal assets were frozen but since he'd be the hedge fund's largest investor then most of the fund's assets would also be locked as its his - hence why they couldn't trade as they'd need his capital. But the hedge fund itself as an entity would surely have some assets to foot the bill for the new office?
