Is there any possibility that Elliott could be fed up with Collingwood's medical team that they can't get himself right (He's been out all season and it appears no progress has been made); which results in a trade demand at end of season.

You can't rule it out given that is exactly what Nathan Freeman did.

I've just tried to verify your Freeman claim. I just read the Freeman thread and I'm none the wiser, in fact i'd go as far as saying that I'm dumber.

Common sense really.

Elliots injury is more of a "Will I play AFL again Doc" not "Will I be back to 100% in a few months Doc"
Firstly, I'd just like to say that if there is ever any connection between TG's posts and common sense it is probably pure coincidence!!

I'm well aware that Jamie Elliott is fighting a condition over which there has to be plenty of concern regarding his playing future. I was poking (mostly good-natured) fun at a fellow poster's penchant for always wanting to look on the dark side of life!

There was nothing good natured about your post, it was just attacking him for his "negative" opinion.

Please yourself, Kappa. I try to be friendly and polite to most of the people around here, I'd say I achieve that 99% of the time. Those who go out of their way to be negative I really do struggle with, I just don't understand what they are trying to achieve, if they really are meant to be Collingwood supporters.

Why does every post have to be labelled "positive" or "negative"? Can't you just accept people's opinions?

I'm not really sure what you're trying to achieve with this. As you'd surely be aware, you would be seen by many as one of the "negative" posters around here. Personally, I just don't appreciate reading the same sort of thing from posters who go out of their way to be "negative", even though I realize our club/team isn't in great shape at the moment. I just don't see the point of trying to hammer home the same negative message.

I really don't look at posts and say, "that's positive/that's negative". I doubt that anyone does. I think we all can see who tends to post on the same theme all the time.

3 types of posters. Positive posters, negative posters and balanced posters.

Whether or not your opinion is accepted is a matter of personal view point, but don't expect to not be labeled 'negative' if the overwhelming bulk of your posts have a negative slant to them.

When you start labelling things you create division. "Us vs them". This leads to so many shitfights on our board, it's always the "positive" posters verse the "negative posters" and those caught in the middle who get sick of both sides.

I like those forums that have the up thumb and the down thumb. When a post gets to a threshold of down thumbs, it vanishes from the thread, much like long quotes do now. Can't wait for that upgrade.

 :p

In all seriousness if you don't like what certain posters say then just don't read their posts.

Do you regard yourself as one of those 'caught in the middle'?

Soooo elliott ey...

Encouraging news on his recovery. Having this kid fit for 2017 would be a major boost to the side. Moore, Fasolo and Elliott has a nice look to it.

I'm just glad to hear his body is getting better for his sake. Whether or not it supports an elite football career in the future.
