With both him and ryder leaving, anyone else feel we are running low on tall forwards? Besides Dixon we don't really have a power forward who can anchor the forward line. Besides dixon, marshall and ladhams being the forwards at afl only tall forward we have is howard if he stays now since watts moved to defense.

If you lose Frampton, Ryder and Howard then that’s a lot of big men to lose in 1 trade period

Will be interesting....You would assume it’s highly unlikely either club will play nice. Reality is he had very little value superficially, but the Crows have been talking to Billy for a few months and genuinely have a legitimate desire to land him. So that makes things a bit more complicated.

Thing is if he goes to the crows, he will be in the exact same position. Not a good enough ruck to displace RoB, and as a tall forward will most likely be behind walker, lynch and fogarty. Whereas if he stayed he would be only behind dixon as a power forward.

Why would the clubs not play nice? I doubt they have the same hatred for each other like we on big footy do. They're professionals. We're a bunch of emotional idiots.

As a loping tall 200cm contested marking key forward yeah.

At sanfl level he is dominant this year. Kicks bags of goals then gets suspended for breathing on somebody as per sanfl rules.

At afl level looks alright but hasn’t had a stretch of games yet.

Port fans are very much hoping he signs a new contract but would understand if he doesn’t.

So in short the classic big man profile, taking time to develop but shows potential.

Damn, that's a bargain.

Dude can clearly play, just really needs a coach that believes in him and he can be decently serviceable at the least.

Not really too sure why he crossed to the Crows though as he's even further behind in the pecking order as a tall forward there and I don't really think ruck is the position that is the most conducive to him being the best that he can be in the AFL.

Jenkins leaving and possible Texan's last year
