Possibly the recruit of the year.
Frampton has been really good but Mitchell is a long way in front for that particular title.

The two Crows supporters next to us cheered himYep. They booed Frampton.
100% on the money mate I am certain looking at our other options that would be so,he done a fine job of competing and also dobbing a couple at the same time.Another excellent game from Billy/Peter.I really don’t think we would have won the last three games without him.I know it’s pointless to speculate, but who the hell would have rucked for us in the last theee weeks if he hadn’t been on our list?

I don't think the ones around me knew who he was.The two Crows supporters next to us cheered him
He had 28 HO with 9 HO to advantage (last I read here somewhere correct me if im wrong), that's a good amount of first use for our mids. That might be a tad strong. Had a ripper game, contested really well but they dominated the hitouts.
If someone else can stand up at full back looking longer term does Frampton make Cox expendable?
Frampton is more mobile and maybe a better pack mark.

Doubt Billy could last a season in the ruck. Like him back again when our fulltimers return as the season goes on.
Yep. Was replying generically to posters about whether he remain a ruckman and do away with Coxy.He doesn't need to last the season in the ruck
Just 2-3 more weeks. Max. Until Darcy Cameron returns basically.
But depending on the team we play, maybe not even that long.
Sydney and GWS really only have one tall forward to worry about, so he can play second ruck/forward the next couple of weeks. Carlton have the 2 talls but Darcy might be back by then. Even if he's not, we have Kreuger and Begg there as back up if required.
But honestly Darcy Cameron could be back by Carlton.

agree. It's not proper moneyball, and moneyball isn't about just 'fitting a need'.
Moneyball is about identifying players that have been undervalued (mostly due to recruiting bias) but who have characteristic that contribute more to wins than those of the traditional player.
You didn't get the joke Ronnie. You need your Whipping Boys membership revoked…..

If a forward can do it I don't see why a defender can't, as long they have an adequate person to cover for him in defence.Frampton has been a revelation but where to now. I assume with Cox back, Frampton goes to defense but still fills a 2nd ruck role. What about when Cameron returns? Is it possible we will be better off with 1 of Cox/Cameron rucking, Frampton 2nd & McStay in the side? I don't think I have seen the 2nd position played out of defense.
I'm just glad that Ronnie is finally moving on from his fixation on soy milk and looking for other avenues to whip.i think he needs to know the rules. The first rule of whipping Club is: you do not talk about whipping Club. The second rule of whipping Club is: you DO NOT talk about whipping Club. Third rule of whipping Club, someone yells repent, goes limp, taps out, the whip is doubled.

Thought you'd be up to the task then Ron. Not a big one on faith, I am entertained by a good bit of speculation. That’s for the real brains to decide. I have faith…..
