Billy is not the same player that played in Adelaide. Billy is doing his role and becoming increasingly confident. These weeks where Moore and Howe are important for Billy growing more. A few moments but he did well in round 0. He is OOC this season, I would expect him to re-sign.

He has become so much more confident in himself. A lot of defenders would’ve gone to water with how the first half panned out (Keane in the qualifying final as an example).

Bloke just kept at it. He’ll be better off for it once Moore is back.

Admirable performance as our only big man Sunday night, people need to acknowledge that before potting him on a few errant disposals. 3-year contract loading.

I thought he was great.19 disposals and besides a couple of clangers, he was very solid.

Apart from one howler, thought his disposal is good. Generally goes for the simple option and executes well.
Agree, with time and space his disposal is excellent for someone his height. He needs to work on his disposal under pressure as he has a tendency to panic or over-do it.

He'll be much better for the run.

Frampton was murdered by the umps this week.
He does slog his guts out week in-week out, having said that, I get nervous watching him give off a disposal.

Look, everyone here knows (or they should) that Premiership Full Forward Billy Frampton is my man

But even I can admit it wasn't one of his better games. He didn't have a great night

Which is completely ok. His consistency is ridiciulously underrated and given how rarely he plays without one of Moore or Howe (it's possible he never has?) I reckon he should be forgiven for having a bad game

Big Billy really could’ve lived off the legacy of just being a Premership full forward, but he’s really transformed into a really solid defender.

Thought he and the rest of the defenders were great tonight. Always seems to do well against elite full forwards.

Am backing him as nearly our best KPD and he does not injured which is even better with Howe and Moore minute by minute propositions this year.

My observation of Billy in the 2025 VFL vs Coburg was he had developed a presence on ground. That can be seen in the AFL now. He can still improve. The absence of Moore and Howe may help him. Fly spoke last night of telling Billy that he is good. The media talk stuck on Billy being a three team player is an indication of poor media. The three team stigma is poor and very dated. When Billy found his third club more than one club was interested and he signed a three year deal. Now Billy is easily best 23 for the senior team.

He's been a very good defender for some time. Some fools from interstate branded him a dud and it's hard to shake perceptions. He is quick for a big man, a lovely long kick and not bad at the neat 20 metre chip. He is quite good below his knees and his marking has become a strength. Unlike some more renowned defenders, he punches from behind more often than not rather that attempting to mark. He is predictable. That's a good thing from a defender.

His teammates love him. He has never dropped his head through the seasons when he was not getting a game or used in multiple positions. What a tribute to his persistence that he is now clearly best 23.
