I think Framptons height, intercept marking and field kicking is a compliment to our existing back line. It may not be a sexy trade on face value but I think it may end up being one of our best trades this off season.

What is with our list management overpaying and offering long contracts to unproven fringe players. It's like Quinton Lynch/Clinton Young/Jesse White/Mayne all over again.

Key position depth is always good. He can pinch hit in the ruck too so can be helpful if we move to the 5 man interchange.

Absolute worst case scenario, we put him in the VFL and have Kelly & Dean develop next to him.

He’s obviously good enough for the 2’s and with him playing the key role the other players may grow with less responsibility.

Way to misrepresent it, but that’s cool. The point is 3 years on a player with very little to show over an 8 year career, who would have been delisted, is completely needless.

What was the competitive offer we had to beat by going so overboard? It’s this kind of management that has gotten us into troublesome corners time and again

Frampton is not a lockdown player at all , he backs himself to get the ball , I’m parking my car in the Dean garage to be the lockdown player , if that is the way Fly&Co decide too fly ! or to continue in the manner we went this year , which is the basketball based defence .

I think it’s fair to say GW and co have watched enough footage of him to know what he can and can’t do.

If you take a look at the 2022 highlights package on this thread… he seems to defend well enough
