I think many have a way too high expectation. The guy has not made it at two other Clubs, he fits the type of player we need, can he make the level at his third Club, maybe or maybe not. I hope he does or at least keeps the pressure up and provides a reasonable depth option, he may even play a role on horses for courses basis.Poor old Billy is being put to the sword on BF. I might wait till the end of the season to see if he was a good pick up. He was ok in the first practice match

It’s mostly mild concern that’s been displayed here, very few have written him off.Blokes just got to the club and supporters writing him off. Pretty ordinary tbh.

Three years, just like Hill. How many years did we sign Frampton for again?

Yep, when the VFL season startsIt won't be long before he plays.
No I mean it wont be long before he plays senior footy. Reckon round 3 v richmond at worst.Yep, when the VFL season starts
Was training in the bests team right up to this week, so maybe they dont think Hawkins would play. But the way he has been training has been impressive, so I wouldn't have been surprised if he had started. But he'll have to put his best foot forward to be in contention for next week v portCan’t see why there was any expectation that he should be a walkup start to our 22. Being taller than Murphy isn’t enough of a selling point. He is quite rightly starting the year in the seconds and it’s up to him to force his way into the 22. No reason why he won’t do that in time, but a month or so building up some brownie points in the VFL won’t do any harm.
I'd go harder. Bring back Davoren to overtrain him and give him a chronic injury - and then delist.Delist![]()
I'm hoping it's because they want to use Bruzzy as a tall on Cameron. Was training in the bests team right up to this week, so maybe they dont think Hawkins would play. I'd rather they have him on Ollie lol But Cameron too tall for Bruzzy?I'm hoping it's because they want to use Bruzzy as a tall on Cameron.
I don't think Cameron is that dangerous in an aerial contest. I think Cameron does a lot of his damage because he usually gets treated like a regular KPF with a regular KPD on him - and he's too clever and elusive for them. For us, when higher up the ground, Howe zones off and Cameron gets a break on the lead, and then when they're both in a pack marking situation - Howe always flies and Cameron only does when he there's no other option - if there's another bloke there to bring it to ground - Cameron slinks away to get into space. He plays more like a really tall, really fast, really brilliant flanker.I'd rather they have him on Ollie lol But Cameron too tall for Bruzzy?

I think Buddy’s key position aspect to his game are really underrated though.Just like Buddy!
Could still be sub, no?
Used tonight as a break in case of emergency additional match up if other options fail ?
Otherwise I think he plays soon.
The club didn’t recruit him and Dean… and re-sign Kelly… just so as to play Howe as an undersized defender til he’s 35
It’s why I wasn’t concerned when we missed out on Cameron because Mihocek already provided that to a lesser extent.I don't think Cameron is that dangerous in an aerial contest. I think Reef’s pre season was too good to be passed up as the sub.Could still be sub, no?
