It'd be a tight squeeze if we had all of Cameron, Howe and McStay fit.I can't believe the comments about Frampton not being in best 22? He has been huge for us in our time of need and before the ruck issues was developing at an exponential rate in the backline. Who would not have him in our best side? He's in mine...
And a wonderful conundrum for the selectors!!!It'd be a tight squeeze if we had all of Cameron, Howe and McStay fit.
Yup, I really wonder if he is a better ruck than Cameron? His taps seem better directed. He might actually be the best ruckman on the list
He got coaches votes against Lynch.Yup, I really wonder if he is a better ruck than Cameron? His taps seem better directed.
OTOH, I’m still sceptical about Billy the KPD, we haven’t seem enough of him in that role. But That one on one he lost at the punt road end wasn’t good…
I think he does. He has height and is starting to back himself in. Maybe his issue was the fact he had a low games career over eight years and felt a bit dejected.I did say he was the best ruck option. Great utility, just wonder whether he will be good enough to lock down a role when things settle.
Of course, confidence at the level can only be gained at the level and with some continuity.I think he does. He has height and is starting to back himself in. Maybe his issue was the fact he had a low games career over eight years and felt a bit dejected.
We’ll need him for McKay against the Navy Poos for startersI think he is too versatile to be dropped, he is showing his value to the team rucking kicking goals and doing a good job down back. It is great to see a maligned player playing like he is and sticking it up the doubters without actually doing so, he is a good kick for goal and a fine field kick and he can take a grab.
The club did the work to get him across and it is paying great dividends, until his form drops or god forbid injury he is in my 22 every week.
Amen to that - was it only a little over 18 months ago we were "a club denuded of talent and direction"???What struck me the last 2 weeks but especially yesterday was how good Frampton is at the actual ruck craft.
His hit outs and making space around the stoppage is excellent, I dare say he is a much better option than Cameron although Cameron gives a bit more around the ground.
Its a pretty good problem to have to be honest.
no idea why he didn't spoil the ball in that contestYup, I really wonder if he is a better ruck than Cameron? His taps seem better directed.
