I doubt he'll hold his place. I suspect we'll stick with 2 rucks and despite Framptons preferred dimensions, Murphy and Howe are simply much better footballers.

Is McKay expected back? If not, Dixon is the only brute kpf that we might come up against. And it's only a might for either of them, and neither of them have set the house on fire this year. I wouldnt be particularly worried about either of them.

I’m not concerned about Dixon kicking a bag on us, I’m annoyed at wasting Moore’s intercept game on a lumbering gorilla. Frampton’s game on Lynch is the template.

What about Moore's multiple games on Hawkins?

The issue with Dixon isn't just that he's a gorilla; that actually allows Moore to give him more rope. The issue is that he will play higher up the ground and will drag Moore away from where we prefer him.

He's been a very good pickup. Depth for both ruck and KPD and we have needed him in both roles this season. He's not best 23 when everyone is fit but that's OK. I rather play Frampton than relying on Will Kelly

This is it, I think Frampton or someone of that standard is sufficient salary cap investment. If Frampton can take some of the load and spoil if he can’t intercept that is all we need to allow Moore freedom to attack.

Depends how our opponents line up, for example against the Blues I’d definitely be playing Frampton.

He's not great 1 on 1. He's an interceptor, but that role belongs to Moore and Howe. Murphy is undersized, but far better 1 on 1.

His best footy this year, by far, was in the ruck.

He’s fine one on one just gets beaten on the lead too much. Has has nfi when it comes to positioning as an interceptor and isn’t reactive enough for that role.

He hasn’t looked timid in the ruck at any stage. I think he isn’t the best reader of the play, looks reactive at times, but not timid.

If Billy can provide a decent contest against Andrews, then that's all he has to do. I would love for him to follow Andrews and block or impede his path enough for Andrews not to get a hand on the ball. Throw in the odd lead and a joe the goose or 2 and he's kicked 3 and nullified Andrews
