Fair to say we all shared that opinion, he was BOG imo.

I'll admit I didn't see him playing many games this year but has pleasantly surprised me.
Was fantastic yesterday and is super reliable with his disposal, an area a few of our blokes still really battle with.

While we still tackle a bit sloppy/high, we don't let many through and that goes for most of the boys. Most manage to just make it stick

Contrary to what everyone seems to think here, I dont see him as an 'outside runner.' He's not fast enough for that. He also wins a fair amount of his own ball. The difference with others is that he rarely wastes it.

Also he's one of the most reliable set shots in the side. Glad I brought him in to the ultimate footy side last week

If you saw him casually kicking the ball in the park with his mates, you probably wouldn't say he's a great kick. But he picks the right options and weights his kicks perfectly. He still looks like a boy and has some filling out to do, but I expect him to become a very steady role player.

I'd say his biggest asset is he can see an option extremely quickly and hit the target
More often than not it's a 20-30m chip kick but he almost never just bombs it away

I can see a bit of Steele Sidebottom in Stretch. Not overly quick, but huge endurance lets him get to countless contests right until the final siren. Neat kick (not overly powerful but hits targets) and just makes really good decisions.

Exactly this. More to being an outside player than being quick. It's a different mindset, different way you see the game unfolding.

Yeah, absolutely. Love Sidey. Obviously Stretch isn't anywhere near Sidebottom's kicking skills but he still reminds me of him for some reason.

I like the Sidebottom comparison. Stretch runs hard all day, provides an option on the outside, and is an extremely efficient user of the ball. I like him.

Has gone under the radar. Deserves as much praise as anyone else. I'm really enjoying his games at the moment, whereas everybody is loving the Hunt's and Pertracca's, this guy has done some real good work
