OK , it is a strange title, but there are a few new items on the Boyles website that I think will be of interest.
I normally don't post new articles on my own site, but i think these are solid pieces of work, with many photos, that people will enjoy.

1) Ken Mansells interview and Biography with John Haygarth.

John Haygarth was an exciting Geelong footballer in the fifties. This article is the story of his football life, including his controversial departure from Geelong in 1959. The article includes an interview with John and photographs from his personal collection. There are some fantastic photos of his time with Maryborough in the Ballarat League.

2) Roger Spaulls biography of Jack Collins (includes some terrific colorised photos from the Argus)

Seven Goals in the 1954 Grand Final, 154 VFL Games, Footscray Team of the Century, Club Secretary, Club President, fightback in 1989. Jack Collins was a great player with a great story.

3) Bendigo Football League Seasons 1901 - 1907
I am working on an article on Bendigo football during this period, but I have published season stats with Trove links for this period.
Eaglehawk had a separate competition in 1904, and South Bendigo led a split in 1906.
Anyone interested in a League in complete disarray may find it interesting.
