Well im loving it. Too many games nowadays are all about graphics and new guns and kill that monster etc... Bioshock actually has a terrific story line which makes you want to play the game more and more to keep learning about the story.

But on top of the fantastic story is brilliant graphics and a downright awesome game. It's got game of the year written all over it. Halo 3 will obviously challenge and Halo 3 will have bigger upside given the online capabilities but as far as 1 player game goes you cant beat Bioshock. It's just kick ass.

Also did not kno it wasnt an online game just assumed it would be online.

I find it staggering that someone who likes FPS games would consider Bioshock crap. It just beggers belief really.

The storyline is enough to keep you interested on its own. The juicy graphics, awesome playability and the multitude of little add ons, (like being able to invent your own weapons and armour etc out of junk you find), makes it solid gold.

Halo 3 will probably take up much more of my time given that its online multiplayer. But few games sucked me in as much as bioshock, where you can't stop playing because you need to find out what happens next.

Lmao you can't judge a game before you even play it! I admit i think it's slightly overrated, but on the positive side of things it's a very unique game compared to the clones that are usually released each year. It makes you think, it lets you be creative, and you can enjoy it by yourself.

PFFt never said i hadnt seen it , there is a place called Youtube where i have watched the trailer.

Dont need to have played the game to be able to make an opinion you can go by what you see from trailers etc.

From viewing vids, screenshots etc i can make an educated opinion and that is that the game is crap

You can not form an opinion from screen shots, its just a picture FFS, you can get a vague idea from video but not enough to say it is a crap game.

Well you can tell from the trailer because it shows different parts of the game which gives you an idea of what it is about. Seems to me like u love this game

The graphics are great but i see a lot of games with fantastic graphics but with no substance.

Frankly watching a low res trailer on youtube won't tell you much about the games gameplay and features, which are both pretty cool.

Another cool feature, One of your weapons is a camera. You can take photos of your enemies which get transferred to a research facility. The more photos you take, the more you learn about the enemy, which increases your chance of killing them. The better the photo, the better the reward.

Its chockers with cool stuff like that. Its pretty unique

BioShock is absolutely amazing. By far the best game of 2007 so far, and also the best game on a next generation console as of yet. I can definatly see the game winning Game of the Year 2007, even with hyped titles like Halo 3 & Assassin's Creed yet to be released. I think the only real contenders for GOTY are BioShock & Mass Effect. Halo 3 won't win, it looks utter shit. If it does win, it will only be because of popularity, not quality.

KB #24, if you don't ever play BioShock because of your views from trailers and screenshots, I feel sorry for you mate. BioShock has given me the most entertainment from a game that I've had in years.
