Will the (unfortunate) news that Sam Docherty has torn his ACL this morning change the way the Blue's draft next Friday?

Hey Bish, nice work on your 26-50. Are you hearing about us being really into anyone in particular with our mid 30's and 40's picks?

Thanks for your very intriguing insight! My question was more along the lines of whether they'll look at a more outside HBF type with one of their first picks (Coffield, Clark, perhaps Stoddart later on) now that Docherty won't play at all next season.Injury’s happen in sport. Has Brayshaw been under rated all season or something? Seems only past week that he is now considered a top 3 pick... must say I never really noticed him in the games I've seen. I just don't understand why he has shot up to potential pick 1 territory. He's no McGrath that's for sure.

Could have been worse, they could have lost VickeryI seriously doubt an injury to one of the 46 players they will list in 2018 should alter their drafting approach one little bit.
There are 0 players you could reasonably recruit to fill an AA calibre player's role. Thanks for your very intriguing insight! I doubt it, SOS will continue to draft best available with very good /elite dispoal, Doc going down will have no bearing on early selections
When is the Rayner run happening this morning? Will you be there?Have a few questions left unanswered, I'll get to those this afternoon.
Same with the Phantom Draft. Keep an eye out.
Bish.
Reading the phantom form guide it seems you're not alone in not knowing which direction the Dogs will go at 9, Bishop. Naughton seems the flavour of the month which is surprising to me, but outside of him there aren't a lot of players linked to us.

Someone on the Dogs board who has good connections mentioned that we like Darcy Forgarty a while back but hasn't been anything since then. I think we generally keep things pretty close to our chest around draft time so I wouldn't really be surprised if we took someone we haven't been linked to at all.If Darcy Fogarty is still on the board at Pick 9 i reckon Braddy Johnson will be on the edge of his seat yelling at Dalrymple under his breath. He thinks Fogarty is the best in the draft, but i've heard nothing about the Doggies being interested at all.
Surely the man has a better life than to attend a 2km test for one footballer?
