How likely is Carlton to get Coffield at 10 do you think bish?

A chance, depends if the Saints grab him or not. Hearing Dogs probably don't - he could get through to GWS? But so could Stephenson. Someone will slide.

any clues on Adelaide's second pick (39 before bidding)

Not a lot with the Crows. Bit unsure there. For me, I don't think there is an obvious SA player around that mark either.

Hey Bish, where do you see Shipley, Powell and Langlands getting bid on?

Shipley around the 3rd round for me. Think Powell/Langlands are rookies or undrafted. Not too sure Langlands is in the mix from what I hear.

Looks about right. Much the same as what I put together after reading Twomey's article today.

I actually haven't head Twomey's article! Might have to have a look and see what he suggested.

No I don't - it was expected. Everyone knows he needs to improve it. I actually think some expected it'd be worse.
.

haha bullcrap.

4min km's is what many average people who exercise regularly can do. rubbish to say that it was expected to be worse. that is a genuinely horrible time, let's not sugar coat it.

Rayner will be excellent at the next level, he has loads of talent, but he is not going to become a midfielder. He'll be used as a pinch hitter in the midfield in the same way Jake Stringer is occasionally used. Nothing more than that. Rayner will be an X-Factor weapon up forward but a midfielder he will probably never be.

POTENTIAL No.1 pick Cameron Rayner has returned to running by completing a 2km time trial in front of recruiters on Friday after a knee injury ruled him out of last month's NAB AFL Draft Combine.

Rayner was one of four draft prospects to do the test at Etihad Stadium on Friday, with the Western Jets gun finishing in about 7:57 minutes.

The 18-year-old's aerobic base is considered his main query as the Brisbane Lions strongly consider him for their prized top pick at next week's draft.

To put Rayner's effort in context, the winner of the time trial at last month's national combine, Dylan Moore, completed it in 6:09 while perhaps Rayner's main challenger for the No.1 spot, Andrew Brayshaw, ran it in 6:14 at the combine.

Rayner hasn't played in nearly three months after the Jets' TAC Cup season ended and he nursed a knee injury, so there weren't high expectations among scouts for him to blitz the test on Friday.

A stronger time – recruiters suggested something around the seven-minute mark – could have gone some way to sealing his place at the top of the draft order, but his slower result is unlikely to see Rayner drop down the board as it is a recognised area for improvement for him.

South Australian Darcy Fogarty claimed the best time of the players in the trial, running approximately 7:33 seconds after overcoming a knee injury he underwent surgery on mid-season.

Fogarty is on the radar of North Melbourne, Collingwood, St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs as a top-10 pick despite struggling for form throughout this season.

Callum Coleman-Jones (7:35) and Charlie Constable (7:58) also completed the run ahead of undergoing further tests with club medicos in the afternoon.
The kid has been recovering from a knee injury. That would mean that he had to actually recover from the injury and then start to run on it again. I doubt he has been able to do as much training as he would of liked. I doubt he will play in the first round anyway. I would expect what ever club he goes to, to start getting his body / knee right and then start to work on his lung capacity. I think they will want him to lose some body fat as well. They see his potential when he is playing so give him a break.

Hey bishop, a lot word about North going for Fogarty in the draft. You’d think if you were a recruiter at North a midfielder would be the priority?.

If fogarty can transition into the midfield he could be an absolute star. Maybe Norths development team are confident they can get him there.

Hey Bish, I've seen it mentioned a few times that WC might be interested in Houlihan. What are your thoughts on him as a player, and have you heard similar murmurings?

Maybe, but even if he lives up to his potential as a forward then a forward line of Brown, Wood, Simpkin, Garner, Fogarty and possibly Ahern could be a bloody handful for the opposition.

Today on SEN Conole said it was out of 4 Rayner and Brayshaw were mentioned. LDU and not sure who the 4th is most likely Dow considering the circumstances Rayner's fitness base and Conole mentioning Midfielders were our sole focus and Rayner I don't think will offer that and being we have Key Position players available through the Academy. Brayshaw to me would be the perfect pick also 1 recruiting manager says he'll be the best player in this draft according to Matt Garnland

Or they're in love with fat, slow blokes who can't run. There's greater evidence for that.

Sorry to be a nuisance bish, but I was wondering if you have any pre season testing data for Dow, Cerra and LDU? Had a quick look through old posts and couldn't find anything about it.

Good morning Bishop

How do you rate the following in terms of hardness and ferocity for the ball: Dow, LDU, Brayshaw, Cerra & Clark?

Thanks in advance.

Harness for me is hard to describe - Clark probably cracks in hard more than all those others. But all will put their head over it when they need to.

Would be very happy with LDU and Brayshaw.

What seperates LDU and Dow in your mind? Why do you LDU ahead of Dow?

Dow is a bit disadvantaged in my rankings as I've seen more of LDU this year. Just some of his contested stuff I've rated for a while over Dow.

Best available at Pick 4 - whether that's a tall/mid/mid-fwd. Can't be picky inside top 10.

I like him as a 2nd rounder. Good vertical leap, X-Factor. I haven't heard of the linkings for him to WCE however.

Thanks for the phantom mate.

Just for my benefit I know more than 2 rounds takes a heap of work, but who are the names left on the board that you like?

Considering we don't come in til about 43 it's good to keep an eye out for some names.

Cheers.

Give me a few days and I'll do some digging and try and find out who the Hawks like!

Bishop if Clark goes to the Saints (which is sounding likely), and they also go with, say, Bonar, where does Stephenson slide to (assuming the top 5 is Brayshaw/Cerra/LDU/Dow/Rayner/DFog?)

1. Brayshaw

3. ?
4. ?

If the draft begins like this Bishop, how do you think the picks will fall?

Much appreciated. No rush, I'm sure the life of a phantom draftist is full to the brim!

So he runs a 12 beep earlier in the year, want to make an excuse for him that day as well?

I know you've spoken to Aiden Domic, if that's worth anything to you.
