Bishop if Clark goes to the Saints (which is sounding likely), and they also go with, say, Bonar, where does Stephenson slide to (assuming the top 5 is Brayshaw/Cerra/LDU/Dow/Rayner/DFog?)

Stephenson into the 10-20 bracket maybe later, few murmurs today he's gonna slide.

1. Brayshaw
2. ?
3. ?
4. ?

If the draft begins like this Bishop, how do you think the picks will fall?

1. Brayshaw
2. LDU
3. Rayner
4. Dow

But I'm not sure what order Blues/North have. But if Lions overlooked Rayner, I'm expecting Freo to as well.

Jeez bish how serious is his heart condition I thought it was just minor. I mean he had a great year so hasn’t held him back so why all the late murmurs of him sliding???

Is it because Rayner would be considered a flight risk or Fremantle just rate LDU higher

Heart condition?

How strong are the rumours on mccartin to geelong and which other clubs have you heard seriously linked to him.

Not very accurate ones. Despite some clubs telling me they wouldn't draft him - he'll go inside the top 30.
I'll bow to your wisdom if he does, mate. I still very much see Liam Ryan as a late/rookie pick.

What did he prove this year that we didn't already know? We knew he could kick bags. We knew he could pluck marks. We knew he didn't have much of a defensive game and doesn't have great endurance.

He's exactly where he was when he went undrafted the year before.

He just wagged more training sessions.....

No Cerra at Freo's pick 2 or Carlton pick 3?

Think they've got LDU higher (Freo), hoping Cerra or Brayshaw is there at 5. Think Blues take Dow over Cerra.

I don't know the ins & outs of how serious it is - and I won't speculate. Few clubs had told me it wasn't an issue, but for a top 10 selection some might see it as as a risk, I'm not too sure.

Bit of both I would've thought.

I'm the same thoughts as you on Ryan - but clubs have him right in the 15-25 mix.

His endurance improved dramatically this year, compared with last year that's a start.

To put things into reality, this draft is woeful - no surprise to me that clubs are looking to take State League guys in the 2nd round.

Would Andrew McPherson likely to be around that range? (late second)

Tom McCartin seems to be a bolter! Has he done something in the last few months to change peoples opinion of him?

Maybe in that range - not a bad call. Though I wouldn't be surprised to see him taken earlier.

Bish what’s ur write up on Clark. What are some things that have recruiters seeing him as a teens pick and seeing him as a reach at saints 7n8. Any concerns and what’s his downside

You should check out Bishop's and Pie 4 Life's website, AFL Draft Central. Great write ups on almost players in their draft pool section.

How far is your feeling Stephenson could possibly slide Bishop? Could he slide out of the first round? Would be pretty incredible given his talent but it sounds like clubs are really worried by this heart issue.

I listen to Brett Anderson a lot, because he’s consistently had good mail regarding us since SOS came. Anderson seems to think we have Reyner at one and if he’s taken by Brisbane and Freo, then he would put money on us selecting Dow.

I would not mind Brayshaw or Dow, for that added speed in our midfield.

Some clubs wouldn't take the risk on him due to questions about his ability to adapt to required professionalism

Swans seem to have a few in mind that are between their first and second pick, so probably hoping for one of them to be there at 33.

My feel is that Swans like Murphy, Richards, Bonar and maybe Brander with their first. Would probably grab a sliding Stephenson quick smart, but if these are off the table I wonder if we see Sydney grab someone like Houlahan, Ballard or McCartin at 14. Then maybe jackson ross at 33.

Interesting draft for Sydney, given the lack of overall depth, the scope is there to reach for players they personally back in which may differ from expected power rankings

Where do you see Fogarty's best position going forward Bishop? Seems to be a third tall forward which isn't really what we need at the Saints. Do you expect him to go through the middle?

Has a lot to improve on to make it as a midfielder for me... I've got plenty of ? marks with him. I think third tall fwd or rebounding defender.

Moved from a HBF to an IM this year. I think his inside work is good, quick/clean hands - but his kicking is too poor for him to play as an outside type, hence being an inside type it makes it easier.

Not sure - probably outside top 10 at least. But I don't want to speculate.

Correct - some clubs wouldn't touch him.

I don't think they could grab McCartin at 14 - but I know Sydney like the other two, so maybe they're in the mix. Don't think they've chatted to Ross either.

Bishop there was a little bit of debate on the Dogs board about this. Bonar believes Clark is the best kick in the draft and numerous others have praised his footskills, but on the limited viewing I've had of him, I agree with you: his kicking and general decision making is quite poor. Is it a consistency thing where he is capable of great kicks but doesn't nail them quite often enough, or is praise for his ball use misplaced?
