But no guys, it's just a temporary set back. Dump your other investments and invest in a product that has no reasonable sustainable growth expected other than mum and dad investors hearing about the new "easy money / can't lose" thing.
A mere blip. Im on the MaryJane train.

1. I'm not saying crypto isn't here to stay. It will be used. (Whether those that will use it most are criminals, tax dodgers and super high level businesses or the general public, I don't know.)

2. A blip. Ok. There are two scenarios - you were clever or well informed and got in when it cost $11 and you are so far up a blip doesn't matter. If so well played. If not, you are ignoring that this is a very, very new enterprise whose monumental growth over the past few months was made purely on the "I don't want to miss out" factor. Growth wasn't due to any of the usual factors that drive an investment price up. You saw those same people jump ship just as quickly today when cryptos lost up to 35% in a day...

In short, as a technology it's here to stay. As a current investment? Pure speculation / guessing / gambling. Which is fine. I like to gamble. But I wouldn't want anything other than my spare change in it. I missed the boat. Trying to guess which is the next boat to jump on screams of dot.com investing.

Moral of the story: Play blackjack - it’s more fun
