Have you spotted a horse worth following? Why not drop it in here!

I'll start us off...

Manawa King: By Zabeel, he'll get better and better as the races get longer. He won the other day over 1400m at Geelong. It was only his third start and he'd been unlucky in his previous two outings. Will get better and better.

Strategic Prince: Has had two starts for a first up win at Bendigo and a third last sunday over 1100m at Caulfield. He's pretty green, but he looks fairly smart.

Couple today worth having something on at value.
Caulfield Race 4 No2. Gramercy
Made up a huge ammount of ground at Flemington last time, racing very well step up to 1400m is definatley in his favour
Claim helps.

Race 6 no8. Kashkii
very consistent race horse back on what should be a firmer track today fitter well weightedwell drawn and distance is what the horse in looking for IMO

Eagle Farm Racer No8 Breeze Past
Very Impressive win last time at Eagle Farm used up to lead and ran them off there legs skipping well clear in the straight not suprisingly got tired near the line. much better draw dropping 6kgs with the claim
if the Jockey juts lets him jump and run could be very very hard to catch

Koala from Race 1 at Caulfield yesterday. Was flying home, needs a little more distance.
Also in Race 2 Queen Carey was last and the widest runner and flew home to just miss getting 3rd.

Had an excellent day on the punt, better than the footy! Rubitano was a certainty and paid $4.30 and also backed Currency Rep which paid $16.

Rogerson has a filly called La Quinta Gold which won a trial at HQ last week with its' head on its chest.

Closely related to Gold Lottey, think it was scratched at the barrier at its'only appearance late last year.

Duly saluted today at Bendigo. Well done Chris.

Just saw one in the 4th at Caulfield today.

Ruben - No luck whatsoever and should have won. Blocked for a run for much of the straight and only saw light in the last 100m. That's his second good run in the city in a row and he is due for a change of luck

Hey Catman,Ruben's in the last at HQ today, along with Catman.
Gotta be the omen quinella of the year

It's a full sister to Gold Lottey.

If that is anything to go by, she should be above average.

La Quinta Gold ran 2nd in another Cranbourne trial last Friday.
Must be ready to face the starter soon, unless it's one of those professional trial horses.

A couple from Sandown yesterday.

Damien Oliver has given Tarcoola Diamond a wrap, saying it might be capable of some black type. It certainly finished the race off well, and would be suited at a mile.

I was impressed with the win of Lady Viola in the mares race. Took it one out in my quaddie (but didn't back it - idiot) and she quickened nicely when clear. Will cover 2000m okay and probably has a Saturday win in her.

Before Too Long

Had a look at "Trials and Tribulations" on Sky last night. Had some trials from Warwick Farm. There was a horse who ran the fastest trial of the day by around 0.6 seconds that won by 10 lengths unextended. It's name is Before Too Long, who ran in the Golden Slipper and led them up. No doubt will be first up in a 3YO in Sydney in the near future. Can't imagine you'd get flash odds based on that performance, but it looks a coming winner.

Moonee Valley Saturday - Race 4 No 4.

It's the William Crockett Stakes, so it's no picnic, especially with Dama De Noche, Innovation Girl and British Lion in, but on the other hand, she'll be at longer odds having her first go left-handed. Might be worth a nibble.

Yammer: This bloke is a bit of a favourite of mine (he won his first six starts, we get along well :) ) and he came back from a spell very nicely today. He worked home well behind Dandy Kid to finish third. He's very smart, but his size prevents him from competing well at WFA. He's being aimed towards the Caulfield Cup and he will win some good races this prep.

Bin Dancin - Has won 3 from 3 and yesterday graduated to Class 4 company and brained them by 6 lengths in a blistering time. Looks very special. Yet connections have said they will refrain from taking her to the city because she is very flighty and they are concerned she will react to the larger crowds. Seems silly to me as she would have many races at her mercy if she went to the city.
