I reckon World Joy of the O'Brien stable will run well today - just as I check its $3 fave. Was an unlucky 5th last start, but has run a 2nd to Satin Robes previously.

Looks like Xaaranthe can race off the speed afterall!

Won today after sitting last the whole way...track must have been against her at Sandown

Paid $13..

Won today $6.60. Got butchered last start, today Kingy couldn't have given it a better ride.

Most horses do go on to win each prep, but all mine seem to win the run after I talk them up!

I liked Bel Danoro in the Monash on Sat.

Scratched from the Bletchingly last week. Ran today at Flem. and won - $3. :thumbsu:

Zipping was a good run, and watch for Polar Bear in a second-tier type race at Caulfield in the near future.

Yep another to win the race after it was 'flagged' by someone here..I guess its not just me!

But I guess thats why they call em' black bookers!

Enthusiast looks like its getting back to its form of 2 years ago.

Blitzed around this time of year up in Brisbane had 2nd run from a spell today and ran a great race seeing it useally flops 2nd up.

Will win next time out:thumbsu:

One in tommorow called 'Grey Jeune' that I put some pocket change on first start when it won. Was a very impressive win, I'm keen to follow it to see how it progresses.

I remember that horse, the bookies got absolutely slaughtered because of it. Started at 16's backed all the way into 4's at Flemington last year.

So where is it at?

Was being set for the Slipper last autumn but got something like bone spurs in its knee (from memory). Hayes said it is now being spelled for an extended period to help it recover and also because there are not many races in Spring that suits it.

Yeah. He was going to run it in the slipper, it actually ran in a barrier trial a week beforehand but didn't impress him much. From memory it plugged away to the line under hard riding for 5th or 6th in a field of 10 or so. The field was pretty hot though, I think all but 2 or 3 in the barrier trial were under 20-1 in the Slipper.
