Robert Earnshaw has scored 4 goals so far, Cardiff 5-0 Gillingham.

So far he has done this in Div 2 and now doing it in Div 1, can he take the next step?

I can't believe we had to watch the ManUre v Charlton snore fest while 2 of the most incident packed games so far (Toffees v Pies and Pool v Rovers) weren't shown.

Milan Baros has a broken ankle and faces a long period on the sidelines, meaning we will have to play Heskey more. Carragher was also injured by Neill's challenge.

Apparently David Thompson threw a punch at Riise but it went unnoticed, resulting in some rather heated scenes between Houllier and Souness.

Great result for the Reds, Owen is in sparkling form, and Kewell and Diouf are starting to provide the creativity we were lacking last year.

Well well well... maybe Lucas felt threatened by Farina's decision to recall Muscat and decided to get himself sent off before halftime to increase his chances of future Socceroo selection
Not to worry, Muscat got himself sent off as well just to keep up the pressure :D

Blimey. From what I've read from a Rovers Forum, Neills challenge was both nasty and plain stupid, but not overly malicious. Regardless, the suspension will do him good.

Good luck to the Liverpool injured guys.

Rovers fans are asking for Lucas to show some remorse, so it must be pretty bad.

A dreadful game.

United look totally clueless without Scholes pulling the strings. Passes going forward went too long and it made it easy for Charlton to clear the ball out of defence. We looked dangerous when Ronaldo had the ball, but he will find the going much tougher against Arsenal next weekend.

Charlton created only a few chances, the most dangerous one being a Di Canio shot with the goal at his mercy...not sure how he missed that one.

I guess the good news is Shinners you played badly and still won 2-0. It's all points in the bag.

Bloody Neill. Carragher we can cover, but Baros is a MASSIVE loss. The thought of Emile up front for 4 months doesn't get me too excited.

Biscan is still playing in central defence as well.

Houllier must be regretting loaning out Mellor and Babbel given the injuries incurred. Mellor was a good up and coming player and imo it was a mistake to loan him out.

The good news is Kewell is scoring goals now :)
