I wonder if Arsenal will be fined for their changes against Wigan.

Fully agree with Holloway here, there's a 25 man squad. Blackpool should be able to use it as they see fit. Heard on the radio yesterday (no idea if it's true) that the team that played the Villa match had more premier league experience, cost more in transfers and was on higher salaries than the team that played the game before.

And they put in a fine effort against Villa too.

I understand the merits of the rule, but it's a poor one. It's a bit like team orders in F1, there's no possible way you can enforce it fairly across the board, so it's completely pointless.

Hardly.

He will hand in his resignation and the chairman will reject it and the show goes on. Holloway gets to make his song and dance and life is good.

I read today that Arsenal haven't even been asked to justify the 8 changes they made to their starting lineup for the Wigan game last month.

One rule for some ....

God I love Ian Holloway. The guys seriously the smartest man in football. I thought he was gonna end up with egg on his face yet he weasled out of it with pure ease and made himself look good in the process

It's a good point.

Clubs are required to list a squad of 25 now. None of these players should be considered 'weak'.

If that's the case, the FA should now make teams name list of 8 players and at least 5 of these 8 players must feature in the game at some point to avoid fines, or some random nonsense like that.

It's a massive crock.

agreed, absolute joke, the manager picks the team that he believes will help them stay up over the course of the season, its an insult to those players picked.

Which is precisely why Holloway's so ****ed off. It's not like Blackpool can afford a squad of 25 of the sort of players that Arsenal can.

It's an absolute scandal.
