From the AFL CBA:

As Vickery signed his extension earlier this year he cannot be traded this off season.

RT you need to get with the program dude....i mean yeah there are rules but yeah too, there are ways around them. Not going to get into a debate about trading Ty etc, because there a pluses both ways, but come on dude, if the tigers brains trust got the right number pick put down in front of them, you would think they would have a quiet latte with Ty and suggest he should be announcing he wants to leave and everyone moves on...Dont think its gunna happen though, Ty is a keeper for at least another 2 years...shown enough to warrant that IMO.

And plenty of ******* pace in the draft.

Real midfield depth. Vlastuin Lennon Conca will only get better and will have to to maintain their spots. I know Jetta isn't a favourite and I hate the flog too but we need a permanent crumber and clearly titch is a midfielder now.
If the club went and got Squib Jetta who is no better than vfl level, I would cease barracking for Richmond forever.

The other 2 are too old, simple as that.

As I said earlier if a club came to us with a big pitch for Vickery we would be negligent in not putting that to Vickery to consider, but we can't go out there now and shop him to clubs, that is what I'm talking about when I say people need to stop with the shopping of Vickery in their fantasy trades.

The way it appears to me, we are quite happy with the KPP/Ruck group that we have put together and see no reason to trade anyone out or in. What we do need though is more quality midfield depth and I'd be willing to suggest that we'll be going hard at trying to bring in more talent in that area. Whether that is by chasing Shiel or Mitchell as inside mids or going after the likes of WHE or other outside types or simply going to the draft and stocking up on as many midfield type as possible I have no idea.

I would suggest that If Ryder does indeed want out, we chase him with the kitchen sink....that gives Ivvy his back up, while Ty can develop in the 2s and hammer can learn how to mark footy too

I think the exact type would have been someone like Jacko(Irony of it) to GWS.Stong bodied to protect the kids,Foley has never had capability,Its all good to set the example at training but seriously this is a professional game they play,If anyone who needs to be shown how to train at that level by the time they get to that level then the system is broke.
He's been a great clubman Foley.
Great clubman, hope he plays out his career for us.

GWS has two problems, they have a severe lack of mature hard bodies, and they don't have training role models. Their two oldest players have just retired in Hunt and Gilham, meaning their next oldest are Heath Shaw and Shane Mumford. While players know how to train and get themselves physically ready for playing, if they want to become better they need someone to show them how to push beyond their capabilities. Every single player out our club talks with respect about how great Foley is for them in pushing them and helping them recover through injury. Miles talks about how important Foley is for helping him in his development.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him going into fitness post playing career.

Anyway, just saying we need to keep him. :)

Hope they look at re-rookie-ing him if our first choices are snapped up. Seemed to trending in the right direction...
My understanding is we aren't able to rookie list him as he's been in the rookie list for the maximum allowable time. O'Hanlon possible rookie list, but hopefully it's a sign we're going to be a bit more aggressive/adventurous in trying to fill the list with new talent, rather than hang onto guys for too long when they haven't shown a whole lot.
