Hope its fyfe the richmond supporter:D

Think we are better of chasing Fyfe in FA.
Suits Freo later to when Sandilands and Pav near the end. They get compo and later when suits Fyfe and Freo we trade Fyfe back to them as they emerge from a rebuild hopefully after Fyfe whens premierships with Tigerland

Great.

Now agents know we're desperate and will over-pay. Again.

Good work, Dan.

Talk about damage control funneling this shit out to the media today.
He's selling us hope for memberships this October/November.

Not really, unless we have a trigger finger no problem

I wouldn't be shooting from the hip early for the likes of Frawley or whoever.

There would have to be genuine considered long term rationale behind the target no matter what the price

Talk about double standards; all you hear is the bitching about Grigg, Thomas and Houli.

Yet people are mooting that we fill up with old players from successful teams; to what purpose?

We keep hearing about the successful cultures at other clubs.

Ask yourself why are they not getting a game at their current club, the answer is they are too old (successful clubs have an active player rotation out with the old in with the young).

So how is bringing in an old list clogger from another club going to supplement pace the Tigers so badly need.

It won't. But we will still have plenty of early draft picks to hopefully fix this problem.

**** me it's like when reading our suggestions some posters just automatically think that's it this is all we want. We want old premiership players and bring them to the club at all costs. Don't play anymore young kids and use our 1st round for Sewell and 2nd round for Okeefe.

We can still fix our gaping holes in our list through the draft.

Yep. I've accepted we MUST bring in recycled guys so Blair can have his job justified. At least get one who can show the young guys what's required. Then they can stop the squib lessons from bachar, Grigg and Chaplin.

Heres a novel idea. Get Voss, to teach these mids how to compete for the pill and then spread from a contest and what it takes to do this.
Why do we need Voss when we have one of the toughest ,hardest ,best team playing ,maddest bastards to ever ever to play the game coaching the group Flea???? It's a requirement of the job and a basic one .

So 4 years on we are going for the "Big Fish" that we were going for 4 years ago? Seems a little bit like piss farting around to me when we have gone to market every ******* year for the last 5 FFS. Now stop this BS spin and start addressing the real issues. The issues are who puts together the list of names we go to market for you imbeciles...go to market to get people that can see talent instead of the shit we have there now who cant spot talent if it hit them between the eyes...thats where we need the overhaul first. Because we will forever be in the same shit truck as long as the current list management staff are there.

It's amazing me that posters can't justify the difference between squibs like Petterd and Grigg who offer nothing to players like ROK and Sewell who have each been best or close to best in big games played and are leaders of clubs that we can only envy.

Our list is devoid of leaders. On field we have one guy in Cotchin who is learning the caper that can lead. The rest, wouldn't know the word. We have players who when the going gets tough, turn to sand.

Other clubs know you put pressure on us, you mentally get us, we crumble.

There is only a couple of ways to fix it and it needs to be done simultaneously. You can't just draft kids who have excellent leadership abilities and expect it to change. You still need to surround these kids with experienced leaders who know what it takes to be the best.

We have no one on our list who knows what it takes. We have a bunch of squibs that collect their pay check and cruise through the season. No one demands more. That's the major issue.

Bringing in absolutely champions, even for one or two years would give the club and other players at our club a step up and go towards fixing the culture. The demand on training and preparing would rise. The expectation in each others performance would rise.

We are in an abyss right now. We can recruit more kids but coming into our culture what's the point? They won't be given the best opportunity to be the best. Because what's expected isn't what other clubs expect.

We need to not only find leaders in the on field like Sewell and O'Keefe, but surround the players with coaches that also demand the best.

Right now, we are a mediocre club with a mediocre mindset and mediocre culture.
This needs to change.

For Dom Tyson? In a heartbeat.
Any thoughts of trading Vlaustin for just about anyone, need to be knocked on the head immediately.
No, they actually need to be pounded with a hammer, over and over.

Trading Vlaustin would be the biggest f#ckup in RFC history and there has been some big ones.

There are some questionable IQ's at Richmond, but not even they would do it.

Surpising isn't it. The benefits to guys like Vlastuin who has leadership qualities would be worth having them take up a spot on the list to teach him.

Anyone listen to Dan Richardson on SEN this afternoon. Basically said we have some cap space and hinted we could go after a big name.
