Peaked in 09 and has steadily declined since then.

Our priority should be getting Motlop, we have lacked that speedy half forward for a long long time and is the obvious missing piece to the puzzle
Treloar is the one for me, get him into the midfield will free up lids and dusty playing more time in the fwd line who are better than motlop anyway. Motlop is handy but one of those rip a game apart once a month types. No consistency which is what treloar will bring.
Get him for first rd this and next year and get yarran for 2nd rd pick this year. Bang great off season and locked and loaded for top 4 and serious tilt next year.

Stevie J - I'd have a very good look at it. Especially if we land Treloar. Premiership for the stealing in 2016. My biggest concern would be about him fitting into our game plan. Can he put on the defensive pressure required? Can Sam Lloyd though. I'd be wary of costing Lennon game time and development but Lloyd is a depth player in a premiership side I suspect.
Lloyd is one of those unfortunate guys who is caught between VFL and AFL level.

Not in the same way. Treloar is a inside midfield beast, Motlop is not.
Not really. Treloar is top 15 uncontested possessions but gets less contested possessions and clearances then Miles and Cotchin.

I'd be very happy with Treloar but he won't solve our inside problems he'll just add another guy who'll help our uncontested game and be capable inside ala Edwards, Ellis, Grigg, McIntosh et al.

Massive no for SJ for me.
me too i hate the idea we don't need him, we don't need someone to show the kids anymore our team has matured beyond that and for how long SJ will be handy is valuable time we are taking away from one of our youngsters to take advantage of that maturity.

We will become north 2.0.

I'm a yes for the Stevie J camp.

but only if it's not at the expense of lennon.

I think he would be a great addition. beauty of it is, he doesnt need to play every week and his body can be managed accordingly. he is a big game player. we could use him exacty like Geelong used Ottens at the back end of his career. play every 2nd or 3rd game (big clashes) and then get him fit for finals (if we are participating)

proven match winner, adds another element of unpridictability.

we will also get an extra 2-3 free kicks per game..

HF: Deledio - Vickery - Yarran
FF: Edwards - Riewoldt - Johnson
at the expense of who then? who is exceptable?
