While there are a heap of Pies fans here, what would you want for Nathan Freeman? We could use a ball winner with pace.
His value is probably late first round at best given his injury history. Trade is never going to happen because that is unsatisfactory to us given his age and where we drafted him and no club is going to offer up anything better than that.

Isn't he uncontracted and can just walk if you weren't to trade him?

Yeah but if he walks one of the cellar dwellers are going to pick him up, I was referring directly to Richmond in terms of what we might trade. We aren't going to give away a talented albeit injury prone first rounder to a team we perceive to be rivals in coming seasons for a mere second round pick in a weak draft. Would much prefer him to go to a basket case club like Carlton or St Kilda without any compensation.

Theory: AT's manager nominated the pies because he knew that we would up our offer therefore create a bidding war while he sits in the background counting his comish....
dirty dog. :p
Is
mate thats exactly what the agents do in the entertainment business industry, they end up starting a bidding war and then low and behold the act is being paid overs by like 400k a gig.

Just like dustys manager shopping him around for extra coin then came back crying. This is a corporate world and don't believe what your hear the things that go under ground would astound you. You only have to look at us a few years back buying players houses so on to sign them up hush hush.
Remember also Dustys manager is an entertainment promoter dodgy as all **** .

Ahh fair call. I don't think we are after him at all. Sounds like he will go to the Saints at this point.

Dont think they'd like it.

Only mid strength at all our games and the closes pub to Spotless only sells Tooheys New.
Bloody hell. No wonder the numbers are low.
What about a quality beverage like the old Tooheys Blue?

I remember winning a slab as a bet many moons ago. Thing lasted so long it almost became furniture. Couldn't give that crap away.

It Witts is worth that or has been offered, then I guess if he doesn't want to go to GWS there'll be other clubs keen.
I'm doubting your sources though, starting to think someone's taking the piss out of you.
I don't get the Witts love....he is an absolute spud.

Very similar to Warnock when he crossed from Freo....high hopes and big contract.

Reckon Carlisle is the play. No way hegets a 2 year ban, worst would be like preseason because they would backdate it to some insignificant date.

Carlisle can replace Vlastuin in the backline so he can move into the middle.

Yarran would still be worth a look, along with Bennell. Keep our first for a kid though. Should be pick 11 unless Kruezer gets a massive contract.
