His first year impressed me greatly
Impressing greatly and GUN are poles apart though. Statistically his first year was his greatest and hes declined ever since. Granted he did his knee in there somewhere generally you see improvement in players of his age / height

Very true. GWS need the points/pics to secure Hopper and Kennedy I think. These two have been mentioned in top 10 conversations with Gary Buckanara rating Hopper in the top 5 I think. Pies will need to come up with picks since we are offering two first round picks.

Hopefully we are still in it and at the very least we make the pies pay handsomely.

On other matters
- AFL Richmond Season Review mentions we are likely to part with our first pick for Yarran. GTFO. Pick 11/12 for a fringe player with suspect attitude and hamstrings is ridiculous. If we pay this I'll be gutted. Please tell me its a second rounder or nothing.
- Somebody mentioned we are into Jed Lamb. Any truth to this and what do people think? I haven't seen him play. Edit - just noticed people have already been talking about Jed Lamb. Raw numbers don't look great.
no chance, we need that 1st pick for other reasons, 2nd at most

If we got back something we need the i agree. Im not trading him for the sake of just trading him as he has value for us. Just aslong as he brings us more needed value in return
Don't get me wrong, I'd want us to benefit from it. I had bloody high hopes for him but he seems to have lost 10 yards from his kicking and his set shot from 30-40 out have gone to shit.

Oh yeah i understand. Hes copped a bit for coming into a final underdone, hardly his fault im sure he gave it his all. His form early on in the season was very solid and can see a few clubs keen on that. Brissy for example. But like ive said i wouldnt be giving him away cause end of the day he can still play a role for us

I'm not bagging him about the final, that's on Hardwick.

I remember us being linked to him when he was delisted by Sydney.
I trust the recruiters and all but fair dinkum, a guy who was delisted by one club and can't get a game at a bottom 8 side, I'll spew if we give up anything more than a 4th rounder for him.
keep in mind the side you mentioned has 15+ 1st rounders in thier 2nds with a fully fit list.....
he an upgrade on Gordon, if the answer is yes & he's cheap what is there to lose?

we needed a scotty turner type to lay chimps tagger out fair and squarely of course like he did that day to O'Donnell and swung that whole game around , unfortunately we don't have players like that in our team right now and we need one..
Unfortunately these days you just cant run thru these players any more. What Moons said was fine in his era, but these days you simply cant iron out players.

lets see , how many years are 3 A grade mids available, danger, trelor, benell,
oh yes we are short in this area,
whos saved a suposed war chest,
if cant land anything thats real class, then our recruiting team have failed and someone should go, we got to take the next step everywhere, not just our players, but many in our club must do what is expected from players.

Agree but scotty turners Bump was a legal one, even now it would be , hip and shoulder.
That was right below me, and I reckon I was the first to stand up and yell my support. it was huge, but I'm pretty sure that he hit him in the head, even if it was a hip and shoulder and all tucked in.
