I got that feeling too. Hope I'm wrong though. Like what I've seen this year.

Maybe he told the club he wants out and so they said fine, we'll give the finals experience to someone who wants to be here

if he's left because he got dropped for the final then good he can piss off .

I have heard Lennon for Aish. Straight swap.

Heard via Lions super senior coterie guy, not Richmond

Who knows. I'd be ok with it though
How can you be okay with that? I don't understand. Lennon is so much more versatile and has the potential to play off half back, through the midfield, as a half forward and a small forward...

If Lennon leaves/gets traded, I will have zero faith in our list management team. Yes that's right, ZERO!

Nothing will happen obviously until North's season is over. Since then the landscape has changed significantly. I'm still confident this player will switch clubs, maybe not so confident it will be Richmond. Richmond have basically had talks with everyone now and they haven't got enough list spots to accommodate them all. We will do our best to improve our list.
You talking about Sam Wright?

Maybe something else went on before the final.
Well it must have been only two days before because i remember him doing an interview on the Wednesday about the final etc and that if he played he would be used to the crowds because of matches we've played during the year.

Lol also the bloke has a massive Tiger Tattoo on his back back thats nearly finished.

Witts is playing VFL because he's a first ruck and so's Grundy. He would play first ruck in our AFL side. The second is paying for Yarran, so who cares about the draft quality. I only said next year's first because I anticipate it being later than this year's. We currently have pick 12 - next year we should have 15 or later.
I'd take Witts. I reckon he's promising. Not sure what I'd pay though.

That interview was on the Rising Star award night someone probably asked him how he'd go with a big crowd. I wouldn't read that much into it.

Well, he hasn't signed, has he.

Had every opportunity and it's pretty bold for a second year player who wasn't getting a game when he decided to put off a contract.

Lions are hard pressed to pay the minimum cap. If you have Freo offering McCarthy $700k I wouldn't be at all surprised if Lions were slapping $1.2m over 3 years in front of Lennon.

So, imagine for a moment that he is going.

Draft pick? Not in this draft thanks. We don't want to replace a 2 year player with another kid, especially in a crap/ shallow draft. Our time is now/ in the next 3-5 years.

So, if he wanted to go to the Lions, I'd be after a really smooth mover who was rated very very highly in his draft year. Higher than Lennon ever was, that's for sure.

Yes, I'd be OK with Aish for Lennon

I guess we just differ in our opinions of what our club needs for prolonged success.
