The club needs to be aggressive. We have a solid team it's now time to top it off. We've drafted well. If they are cashed up its time to aggressively trade.
But you cant be seen to be too desperate. Clubs will see you coming a mile away and overvalue the player they are trying to sell. Better off keeping cards close to our chest and when the time is right to pounce to do so then. Making a lot on unnecessary noise at the moment is a rather pointless exercise. Im sure privately our club is speaking to the player managers that they should be and if there is a deal right for us we will put our best foot forward.

Makes me sad, to read how some people are more worried about players movement than our participation in the finals.I am just looking forward to Sunday and beyond. I see the bigger picture, i don't care who comes or doesn't. I have trust in our list and the people who are in charge of list managment, and i don't care what other teams do, everyone to themselves. Lets be honest and we all have to admit, this list has done very well with 15 wins for a season, which we didn't start that well and only 2 wins away from top of the AFL ladder. I am a strong believer and my thoughts are that we are on track and the door to the holy grail has open up for us. Go Tigers.......
I am much more interested in the finals than trade week, you have to do something to kill the time until Sunday :).

Aish, I am so underwhelmed by this kid. Why is he rated so high ? Anyone with knowledge on him please enlighten me ?

I just hope due to losing out on Treloar our recruiting department does not react by trading for the sake of it. I just dont see how Aish adds value to our list...again all i have seen of him is this years form and he appears slow, soft and shocking in his disposal.

Henderson's an interesting one. I'd definitely look at him over Carlisle. Sounds like he's all but signed with the Cats though?
I'd tie it in with Kreuzer & Yarran. A deal for Kreuzer that gets them an early compo pick, then Yarran for our second and Henderson for our first. Then trade a player and next year's first for Aish.

His heart wasn't in it this year and he's been injured. You obviously didn't watch him much last year. Potentially A grade easily. Trust me.

What is his strengths mate ?
He just does everything to a high level. All round quality player. He's not lightning quick or a clearance king or anything but he's a very good kick off both feet, very composed in traffic, a strong mark, and tackles plenty. You could play him pretty much anywhere bar KPP or ruck. He'd just add nicely to our stock of young, classy, versatile players.
