I really didnt think we needed Carlisle but after today's game its clear that we are still 1 KPD short in defence as Chaplin is not going to take us to the next level

Benell is and should be our #1 target
Carlisle another that would improve our team no doubt
Yarran is another if we can get him to become a Rioli type player(has the talent and skill)

Griffiths or Astbury + picks to essendon for Carlisle
#12 for Benell
#34 for Yarran

I for one hope we get Steve Johnson and some others, sick of seeing shit campaigners who kick worse than all of us like Reece Conca

Bet you weren't paying him out when he contested beat 3 Roos and ran into a goal.

Hardly the only player to miss kicks today and has only played 2 and 1/2 games.

Quite obvious that north thought just got to keep 3-5 star players down and a lack of class will mean tigers cant win, cotchin, ellis, edwards played super bad, 28 touches total, no longer can cotchin be considered an A grader has his game today was disgraceful
Along with Edwards and ellis, bennell so needed in our team

He shouldn't have been picked, that's the problem.
I'm not disagreeing there but we need him next year, we are a shite contested ball side and got absolutely smashed today. He is very good in close.

I haven't seen much of Cam Ellis-Yolman but seems to win a fair bit in close. We need a guy like him.

And for ****sake take a risk and get Bennell. Waite is a shit kicking campaigner but that risk paid off for the Roos today!

His effort when he came on warranted his selection. He contested like hell and tackled and scragged like Miles. Griffiths' effort didn't warrant his selection, was hot early with his marks but just didn't put on the scoreboard pressure.
If we can get Bennell for Griffiths + this year's 3rd rounder/next year's 2nd or 3rd rounder then i'd go for it.
Take Kreuzer and Carlisle and we're done for the trade period.
Carlisle wants to play defence, he'll play defence. I honestly don't know why Rance can't play without Chaplin, but gee he needs to get over it and not rely his performance on him because with Chaplin we're not up to it.

Chaplin is a liability in big games against big players, Cant play man on man and isnt skilled enough to create and run off as well as lacking speed.

Carlisle would atleast beat the Gorilla's like Petrie and allow Rance freedom to run off, Was a disgrace expecting Batchelor to hold up waite whilst Chaplin is roaming around like a flanker

Carlisle , Benell & Yarran should be our priorities

It's not about effort, he barely played this season, Lennon and/or Lloyd should have played before him, pick players with no form? real smart.

I'd love to get Benell and Carlisle but I just don't think they'll go down the path, don't want Kreuzer and his injuries unless he's not getting paid much.

Nobody is happy, but making decisions based on emotion is crazy and stupid.
yeah and if you don't show emotions after what you just witness when do you show it. Its been proven we are not good enough and instead of going after some decent players what do we get? Emotions are Foley knights why did we hang on to them instead of improving our list? Then again we can't improve it so let's keep them. Is Lennon signed yet? don't be surprised if he asked for a trade.

I never said it was bad to show emotions i said it was bad to make decisions based on emotions. There is a reason sporting clubs and business never try to react to emotion. The rest of what you say basically proves that making decisions based on emotion is stupid, it hurts like buggery today but it ignores the entire season, contracts and logic.
