Isn't that what Essendon fans said about Bachar and Blues about Grigg? It's not exactly an easy club to please as a CHF from day dot is it? Carey, Longmire, McKernan etc they have seen the best anything less they will probably dislike.
His best footy is ahead of him thats what makes him an enticing prospect in my eyes.

That says more about your mates than Lachie's ability. His 2011 has been bad, there's no denying that. How much of that you can attribute to the dodgy shoulder he's just had operated on is hard to say.
What you can't argue with is his 2nd half of 2010 (when he moved forward). His performances then outshine those of Sam Reid in 2011 who is rightfully being hailed as a future star. I see them as very similar players.
He's contracted for 2012 and is pretty much untradeable.
The only reason we should go for Hansen is to stop that North supporter who gets on our board and tells us how much better he is than Riewoldt!

Wouldn't be disappointed if we went Hansen. Settle him at CHB, having Leppa teach him could really blossom.

The compo is worth far more than our HBF.
If we insist on getting him give them 2 HBF not including Batchelor. Naturally Lids is out of the question!!
I actually think Dea will be better than him as well anyway

He is terrible. Has anyone here watched him this year? I wasn't trying to exaggerate, that is actually what I think of him. He is shocking.
He played Nick R into form when the guy couldn't get a kick, he kicked 5 or so on him.
Is a terrible terrible footballer, on par with McGuane but with less heart.

He will only ever make it as a CHB, that's where he played and excelled in juniors and looked at his most comfortable at AFL level, I would be very interested if he came cheap.
He might actually pull his finger out as well seeing as he supported Richmond.

now this might shock a few but I reckon Hansen would be a better investment that trengove ever would have and alot cheaper too, compo pick and we got him

The compo pick is worth more than our first rounder

Agree. Would add Goldsack to the no thanks list. Really isn't that good. Great long kick and not much else. Deboer is a shocking kick. Sloane only good one on that list and no chance they would let him go.
Pettard is good. No one at Melbourne is performing, playing in a different club could turn him around. Though I'd hate to see a dobber at Richmond.

DeBoer is from Perth, can't see why he would want to leave anyway as long as Freo want to keep him. Lyon has no problems with players that can't kick.

sellars is a name that should be on everyones lips...a prodigious junior talent, I can only presume that remaining in that fishbowl environment in small hometown did the kid no favours..bring him to the BIG smoke with a dose of reality and watch him thrive
