From what I understand:

Administration - Appointed in hope to turn the company around.

Receivership - Appointed to manage assets and deal with bankruptcy. Make back as much money as possible.

(Voluntary) Administration - administrators appointed by the company's board of directors
Receivership - receivers appointed by the company's creditors

Horrible situation for those 6 clubs.. I guess we hope that they work something out..

And I hope the Bulldogs are buying a tattslotto ticket, couldn't have timed their exit any better. With everything else that has fallen for them the last 2 months they are on a run of luck that becoming unbeliavable.

This reminds me years ago of a rumour myself and a few mates made up that KAPPA was going to be producing Ports new gurnseys. We made mock up guernseys graphics with oversize KAPPA logos on the front and running down the side of the guernseys. It gained enough momentum to make it on talkback radio with a whole bunch of agitated people saying they should stick to soccer.

I've been tipping Fila and Champion to hit it big and they've been doing Urban Outfitters lines a heap this year... bring em into sport proper please. Would love to see Champion try something. Of course that's never going to happen.

I doubt we will see BLK not be able to supply kit for this season, but if that is the case then I'm really nervous about what that might mean. Clubs will be scrambling just to get some sort of sponsorship deal together and we might end up with guernseys than with BLK. I can imagine the crows with blue collar and cuffs with asics or 'fanged' hoops with adidas.
I know for a fact the AFC received a large delivery of guernseys from BLK yesterday

I wonder if a smaller brand like CGR will jump in.

That's an interesting suggestion. They have a couple of quite prominent contracts, including the new VFL Womens League, TAC Cup, and all the shorts for the VCFL teams that everyone in this state seems to have a pair of.

Formerly known as Cougar, god knows why they would change to an unpronounceable three-letter moniker but maybe they figured everyone was doing it (ISC, BLK, TWP, etc.)

It will be interesting to see how the club tries to sell these (if they do at all) and at what price. Surely they couldn't be sold as 2017 replica jumpers if the team wont be in BLK jumpers for next year.

These are the guys that are concerned more than any club or supporter right now and it ****ing sucks.

I actually got genuinely sad watching this video. Quoting indirectly there are about 180 permanent workers at the Fiji factory and for many it's their first jobs, helping to "put food on the table"

Also you know a big company which might get a shout is Under Armour. Sure they do mostly American teams but they also sponsor Wales RU as well.
It's be far too late, they wouldn't have time to get templates, manufacturing, designs, and whatever else before they'd be needed, which is pretty much now.

The companies that'd get it would be those that are established and can get them up and going quickly, CGR, ISC, hell, maybe even CCC and NB will pick one or two up and get themselves a little bigger.

I can't see more than single year contracts coming, though, extensions might be negotiated throughout the season, but nothing serious will come out of this.
