I went to the melbourne show was disapointed in not hearing Luno. Price of Gasoline for me was the highlight. In terms of getting the audience involved they were incredible.

damn you got price of gas? sydney didnt!

do agree with the brilliance tho

we got (not in 100% order)
song for clay, positive tension (awesome), waiting for the 7.18, i still remember, banquet, hunting for witches, this modern love (awesome), so here we are, two more years, sunday, like eating glass, prob couple more ive missed and the encore was where is home (i think), shes hearing voices and helicopter

disappointed at lack of pioneers, luno, little thoughts and price of gas.

As Liam Gallagher would say

"This one is for that ******** out of Bloc Party, ****ing Student"

Enough said really.
**** off ********, stop bringing up Oasis in every single thread.
Nobo0dy cares what he has to say anymore.
He's opinion about newer bands are irrelevant as Oasis are well and truly past it.

They can actually make their own type of sounds, something he can't do

Melb show had pioneers to close/encore. They went off and came back twice. Hard to know what an encore is nowadays evryone does it. Set list seems pretty similar from what I can work out from the bloc party site. 3 differnces and an extra song for melb.

What a concert! Mosh pit was great.

They didnt play 'Two more years' in Melbourne. Price of Gas the standout for mine aswell. Helicopter and Banquet were obviously ****ing fantastic aswell. The whole concert was top notch.

9.5/10

.5 deduction as some knob stole my wallet.

$66 from memory

That is how much was in Cassius Clay's wallet!

And half a gram of speed.

It was an awesome concert - I got my tickets so long ago that I wasn't really expecting much, but they were ****ing great.

I went to both the Melbourne and Sydney shows and was front row centre for both of them, and Melbourne was definitely the better show, Kele even said so afterwards, even though the sound at the Hordern Pavillion kicks Festy Hall's ass.

We got a proper encore in Melbourne! Pioneers wasn't on the setlist at all.

Highlights at Sydney did include I Still Remember and Two More Years, though they did debut Two More Years at Melbourne in 2005 :)

But anyway, the crowd was brilliant in Melbourne, definitely up for it, whereas the crowd in Sydney were made up of mainly underage kids in fluoro who didn't understand the irony when Kele dedicated 'Uniform' to them. Worst crowd and worst mosh I've ever been in.

Saw them at Splendour at it went off like a frog in a sock. Don't listen to them alot, but I loved thier set. I Still Remember didn't feature here either which is interesting to note.

Kele was in love with the splendour crowd and got up a personal when he went into the crowd! Great stuff.

Allthough festival hall is a shit venue for sound the thing it has over the Hordern is that the floor is over 18 so less emos and little kids

Having been to both venues twice all i have to say is

The Forum shits all over them both
