Played a really good style today (as we did last week)...just hope we keep going with, it'll torch us at times but as we get better it at it, and get a few better players, it will be a real winning style imo.
Rampe was awesome...if he's misssing an extended period that will be the straw that breaks the camels back.
Good to see Cunningham in the last couple weeks is starting to return to his 18/19 form....his play at the end not to take it out and keep in in was a fantastic decision, too bad Blakey didn't complete his bit and take the mark but it all worked out in the end.
Reid rusty af, had some bad moments, personally didn't think he was great today (did have some ok moments) - yet at the same time you can't say our forward line didn't function better today?...such an enigma.....not sure whether just a coincidence cause we were playing an ordinary team or not, but yeah watch item for next few weeks.
Also Hawks, like the bulldogs can just throw the ball all they want and never get pinged....so many throws today or incorrect disposals from them today yet none called. I know there will be some missed the other way too, but like 16 other clubs we abide by different and stricter set of disposal rules apparently.

Really liked that Bell did so much grunt work for a third gamer.
Really liked Ling’s composure.
Really like Elijah’s willingness to have a crack, especially in the air.
Really liked that Reid worked himself into the game. Wouldn’t have won without him.
Really loved that Fox played like a veteran who owns his spot.

There’s heaps more.

We’ll lose more than we win for the rest of the year but boy there’s reasons for medium term hope.

Swans out ran them in The 2nd half. More Numbers at the ball, at the coal face. Mills was a good example of that today plus he reads the play so well and is willing to do the defensive acts...he ran out of steam which is to be excepted for his first real crack but he could go on to very handy mid who gets to the right positions. Mills (the whale) vs Mitchell (couch potato) heat maps..
