watched the game yesterday on ABC and they looked very good. Probably still make the finals I suspect..............

Damn I'd love to agree there. Even if the Blues pulled off a miracle and made the finals, it'd be the same story as the last 2 years, too little, too late. They need a double chance to have a hope, they just be making up the numbers.

hmm... I thought Sturt were awesome in last years final series. They really only failed because of tiredness against the Eagles I suspect. That's why you're probably right....the Double Chance is so important to all the clubs.

Wouldn't be a bad bet if you could get decent odds. Despite beating only Glenelg & North before this weekend, I still rank Sturt as a better side than South or West. Sturt's percentage speaks volumes - when was the last time a team had a 3-7 win-loss record with a percentage over 50?
It's hard to say who will grab that 5th spot. Either way, it's probably a good argument for reversion to a final four.

I'll say Sturt will make it. I have a feeling they'll do us over next week, or whenever it is we play them. (Why do we play clubs twice before we've even met Sturt yet, seems very strange!!)
Sturt certainly have the wood over Centrals in recent seasons, except at Unley where we haven't lost yet since they returned home.

I vote they make the season longer! As we seem to finish the season off pretty strong, it could help our finals chances IF we make it!

Well it certainly won't be this year
First half performacne by South was Pathetic.
With some of the "names" in that side, South should do much better than let a side get 11 unanswered goals.
Colville was excellent again.
Noarlunga was a great place to watch footy but there was no wind, which was a plus.
Quite cold though.
