Bloody Popups

Is everyone else getting these bloody win a porsche popups????

I am getting bloody annoyed by them.

I understand Bluey, you need the sponsorship to keep such an excellent site going but is there any way I can stop them??

servo and Mags - I've never seen them before. When do they popup on your screen? Just at the BigFooty main webpage or in a discussion folder?

I get the pop ups on all screens except the main homepage. Generally upon exiting a screen/page but occasionally when just reading a post. They match the banner on the page at the time.

Do you guys do much web-surfing or other Internet realted activities to do with Porsches ?

Thanks to cookies (i think this is how it works) the Net knows which sites you have been to or even what keywords you like to use in certain search engines.

The result of this is that the Net will throw popups back in yer face which are about the stuff you were on the net looking for.

yeap, i get them too...

one way of stopping them would be to download some software...

go to www.download.com
and type in search for 'popups killer'..

an application to kill off those unwanted popup adverts...

As I said the popups are related to the Banners on the bigfooty page at the time. So I don't think they are related to any other cookies I have. I also cleared off all me cookies and they didn'e stop.

I am gunna try that download though. Thanx
